After 25 years of smoking, I think I've finally broken the nasty analog habit!

I'm rather ecstatic since it's been almost 29 hours since my last analog. My backup MVP 2.0 arrives tomorrow and I'll be donating my old eGo clone batteries, charger and spare disposable clearos to a friend in hopes that he can quit analogs too. I work with him and I've noticed how badly he reeks every time he comes back into the office after having an analog. It's a relief to know that I will never smell like that again. of course I'll probably spend all weekend washing my clothes multiple times. :)

Maybe it's all in my mind, but it feels like I already can taste foods better. Not to mention I'm enjoying my liquids even more now since they taste better.

Just had to share it with the community that assisted me in making hardware choices. Thanks ECF community!

Congrats on making the switch. Glad you are here.
I had to giggle when I read about washing your clothes multiple times. I went thru my entire house 3 times. What I couldn't get the smell out of I threw out.
Since then they have come out with a Febreze odor eliminator for the washing machine. Saw it at walmart. Febreze is a good product tho I haven't tried this particular one.

good luck.

:)

As a 20yr smoker, while i'm waiting for my first time gear to arrive along with some high strength e-juice, I like reading success stories and i hope for a similar result.

Within days you will be amazed how fast your body starts to change. Within a week I had no desire to smoke a cig. Occasionally if i see someone smoking on the TV I will feel a certain attraction but it fades. You are going to dig it:) And yes i was one of those types that swore they could never quit. I didn't even try, it just happened.

Congrats on your switch! People are different, but as soon as your sense of smell comes back, your taste comes back too.

That sense of smell coming back is a blessing and a curse. Things sure taste much better, but now I can also smell... Other people. Especially smokers, who aren't even that close to me. In line waiting for my coffee someone was talking to another person, and their breath about reeled me over. I can smell other people's heavy perfumes and colognes too.

Hope you love your upgrade! I went from eGo to the MVP v2 too. Big difference!

You got this! 29 hours in, great accomplishment! Keep up the good work! And yes, always keep a back-up rig (or 2 or 3)...

Will definitely look at that product. Febreze's stock is going to raise a few points from my purchases in the next couple of days I think. :)
