Imho, there's nothing wrong with a simple eGo setup. I have two Vision Spinners and 2 Mini Protank 2's and they work beautifully. I get more-than-expected vapor out of them, and they're about as non-complicated a device as I've ever met. They made me a non-smoker, that's what counts for me, anyway.

Thanks! Anyone aware of a reliable website that I can find all of this stuff on? I'm from Australia, and whilst the extra postage doesn't bother me much; going from website to website for individual items does bother me.. Would someone be so kind as to point me in the direction of the supermarket equivalent of vape stores? Gonna kick back and have a nice browse.

I was going to write another post explaining atomizers, but I'm just going to make a suggestion...

Go buy yourself an eLeaf iStick 30 Watt, an Aspire Nautilus, and a 5 pack of Aspire BVC coils for the Nautilus. Get some 6-12 mg/ml juice if you want low nicotine. I'd suggest looking at Halo and Firebrand, both are American made, and Halo offers sample packs.

If you want to spend a little more, get an Aspire Atlantis or a Kanger Subtank (Suggest the new 22mm version.) Get some high VG (50% or more VG) liquid with 3-6 mg/ml nicotine. Firebrand's Sub-Ohm line would work.

If I was starting out today, knowing what I know now, thats what I'd buy. Just my 2 cents, take it for what it's worth.

Firebrand - American Made Liquitine E-Liquid, Sub-OHM Liquid, Premium Electronic Cigarettes

I second this advice 100%. I know that getting into rebuilables is probably a no go if you're looking to start simple, but a black eLeaf 30w with a black eLeaf Lemo Drop should hit exactly the spot you're looking for cheaper and you'll definately get a better vape. Just youtube and so some research, it's really pretty simple at it's core. If a RTA is not your cup of tea, djdavis suggestions are top notch also - the Atlantis and Subtank mostly.

I'll go ahead an add my juice recommendation...

It's just to tasty not to try...

No prob! Happy to help :)

Well I just bought a 30w for portability - and it didn't hurt that it matches the black lemo both on size (23mm) and finish. I have the old one also so I knew the size was perfect for out and about. Let's be real, equipment gets lost, damaged, stolen, etc... At some point you're gonna find yourself with an extra 50 bucks and think, hell... why not get the 50w, that way I'll have a backup! Seriously though, the device (30w) doesn't dissapoint.

Now, the Atlantis is a great buy for what it is. I find it's flavor is a bit muted vs a Kayfun/Lemo style RTA, but that's expected and it will most def make you happy. That being said even though the Atlantis is perfectly vapeable at 20w-30w, you might find yourself wanting more wattage. It goes without saying that we all agree that recommending a sub ohm topper is a big no-no for a beginner, but since it's out there I thought I'd give my opinion.

The Nautilus I have a love hate relationship. Ironically I'm using one right now. I'd rather not comment on it since a lot of people rave about it and it's undoublty a great beginner device. I think I've just had bad luck with it. YMMV, and I'll just deffer to my fellow vapers on the topic of the Nautilus.
