Well... today I accidentally left my PV (provari) (with my BliSS rba still attached) on the back of my car in its pouch I carry it in after helping someone with something. I can only imagine where it flew off at and after some intense searching it has disappeared...

I had a Provari V1.. So now I need a new PV.

My question, is there anything on the market that has come out or that is coming out soon with similar features/build style. I also want it to have Variable watts as well as volts that is of a similar quality(really well made lol).

I would just get another Provari but I feel like it is a bit of a dinosaur with the other devices that have come out.

The thing that really sucks is the pouch I kept it in I have had since I was in the 5th grade... I am 23 now..

So yeah.. im out about 3-400 dollars after one little(huge) brain fart.

First an ECFer washes his Provari in a washing machine, then another gets his Provari stomped on by a drunken friend, and now another Provari owner leaves it on top of their car like a negligent parent. Holy yesu kreesto, people. Are you serious?

I coddle my Twist like a newborn babe, dropping it would break my heart. Holy jesu nutballs, you forgot you set your Provari on top of your car?

Gah!

It's making my synapses fire again negatively. Does not compute. SysOP Error.

You all need to take better care of your... stuff.

put an ad in the paper with a reward of 50 bucks and describe where you could have lost it, maybe you get lucky

That is a good idea, or put up fliers LOL. Hindsight being 20/20, maybe when you get your new one you could put a slip of paper with a "Reward if found" note.

You are verified, and there are a few coops running for PV's. You could pick up a cheap backup in one, but they won't get to you as fast as you need one. I have the new vamo's and zmax's and if I lost my ProVari, I would still replace it, the others just aren't as well built though they work great (now, who knows if I ever drop one).

I don't know about similar quality ( I've never seen a provari in the wild) I have a Sigeli Z-Max VV/VW OLED screen. Cost about $80 here ZMax VV and VW OLED - E Cig : Best Ejuice | Joye eGo & eGo-T | Boge Leo | Cartomizers | E-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes I like mine.

We are overly faithful in the build quality of our provaris and are merely faithful that they will survive anything we throw at it as I proved by washing my provari ;-) I'm sure his provari will soon activate its gps chip and merely role to his house electrocuting anyone who dares try to pick it up and op and op from what I have heard the vamo might suit you but I couldn't say how well it holds up over time and abuse

The vamo is a pretty good device and I have been using one for a little over a month and it has rolled down stairs, fallen out of my car, had a dog chew on it, and it still works like a champ. Purchased mine from health cabin and had it 5 days later. Yes a chinese company but china has really stepped up it's game when it comes to devices especially in how dependable some are. I have a stainless one but I can tell you, you know you are carrying a device and it's solid.

Stainless: eGo Bamboo APV V2 (Stainless Body) [D-B4 APV Stainless] - $43.50 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail
Brass body, would recommend stainless: eGo Bamboo APV V2 (Brass Body) [D-B4 APV] - $39.00 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail

(mods, if links can't be in on this one, let me know)

EDIT: Using it as a small hammer to help push a nail back in at work.....

I understand your thought process in wanting to replace the ProVari with something more advanced but the truth is everyone is still playing catch up with the ProVari and the Darwin. Both were so far above and beyond other electronic devices the only way to equal them was via some of the customs, especially when the Nivel chip came out.

They are working hard at getting the bugs out of the Evolv DNA20-D chip and when they do I think you will see mods being built that will eclipse the ProVari and Darwin but those devices haven't arrived yet....close tho...very close.

If you decide against a ProVari V2 I would suggest the Vision Variable Voltage Transformer Mod (Vamo). The build quality does not match the ProVari but neither does the price ($60). It allows you to adjust the voltage or the wattage...your choice.

I recommend a mechanical that is kick compatible Precise has a new telescope kind. In house manufacturing means order it and get it without horrific long waits. So they don't all disappear in5 minutes when posted as available. If you get variable watt you dont need variable volt and havong a good mechanical is important to a collection Then kick backand wait. There will be more selection soon

Next revision for the Provari makers is to add the Harry Potter chip so we can say "Accio Provari" and it will fly into our hands from wherever it is. Frankly, with all the advancements they've made, I'm shocked they haven't done this already. :p

I second the rec for a Provari mini. Nice to be able to choose whether to carry it as a mini or a full-size.

Yes I agree with all the post that I should have been more careful, but you have to realize I have had that thing for 2 years.. the honeymoon stage where I never let it out of my sight was over.. Plus I had just woken up and was needing to get to work -_-;

Thanks everyone for the recommendations! I actually got my GF a Vamo.. and it is pretty impressive what you get for the price.

I am using her old Infinity Pro from notcigs atm haha. Well I has some thinking to do.

Thanks again!
