After comparing brass Hcigar Nemesis(HCigar Logo) VS. Hcigar Nemesis(Nemesis Logo)

I had a chance to compare two brass hcigar Nemesis clones, the one with the hcigar logo and the other one with Nemesis logo. I needed to verify what Vaperoyalty.com claim was true....his claim was 'only hcigar logo nemesis is the genuine one'. Let's find out.


I bought the brass version of Hcigar logo nemesis at njoyevape.com and the other Nemesis logo clone at a local vape shop. I decided to get 2 of them because I had too many atties laying around and HCigar Nemesis clone was one of the best mod I ever owned. As far as performance goes, both fired pretty hard.

Both top caps are identical; both had same size of air hole and pins looked exactly the same.

Bottom buttons are identical as well; no sign of differences at all. Both threads are smooth, silver plated pins look the same.

However, engravings looked little different. Nemesis logo one had thicker edge image than the other one.

Bottom line is both are very darn close to each other, except only difference in engravings. Engraving on Nemesis logo clone became less dark after 10 days of abuse but didn't fade. I'm assuming same thing will happen to Hcigar logo clone too.

Yes the HCigar is a 1-to-1 clone. So it's just a matter of who gets ripped off. You can be the ripper, and buy the clone, or you can be the rippee and buy the origional. Sooner or later manufactures will figure out that if they price their stuff properly, no one will bother to clone it. They might use the design, but there would be no reason to clone.

BTW, even my coffee cup has a copyright on it. (hint)

Does HCigar buy their Nemesis from one manufacturer or a few manufactures?

That whole HCigar logo vs Nemesis logo stamped on box story always sounded fishy to me. Why would any sane person go so far to copy a copy then put a different logo on same box?

That whole HCigar logo vs Nemesis logo stamped on box story always sounded fishy to me. Why would any sane person go so far to copy a copy then put a different logo on same box?

Most of the clones are being made by a handful of factories anyway, the "differences" are probably nothing more than one batch being made before worn tooling was switched out or different vendors ordering different boxes.

Sadly the HCigar was the only one of my 5 that ...... me off.
As per my usual luck, I purchased this to Quiet assumptions that nothing could come close to HCigars Quality.
Wow did my luck hold out. I received the one absolute lemon in their basket of sweets.

510 connection did not want to accept anything
Switch would barely move
Kick ring was stuck tight and once freed up would only thread into the same Tube section
Air flow ring refused to budge

Still, after doing what needed to be done and working things back to the way the Should have been. I was/is a very nice looking piece.

There are a few manufacturers I don't place much stock in, but I have also come to not take the word of a Single piece owner vouching for Best Ever Built product.
Read Reviews, pay attention to owners thoughts and concerns, NEVER listen to anyone that has no actual experience with the piece and be prepared to get the odd not so perfect piece when ordering.

My HCigar is the SS
The Engraving is much more defined than any of the rest
Beyond the engraving, it is basically identical to the 2 SS Fasttech units and not nearly as smooth as the 2 Brass Nemesis.

Do both switches have the same amount of wobble?

I have 3 chemesis. 2 have a switch wobble 1 has a tight feeling switch button.

My understanding, even the Original has a little wobble when sat down unlocked.
My all Brass are minimal in comparison, but all have some tilt unlocked.

both kick rings of my nemies were locked tight when I purchased. The Vape shop employee took care of it. I
don't use kick rings so I don't care really. It seems like more people have problems with SS versions.......such as lock rings getting stuck, wobbling issues, etc etc.... Can someone explain why?
