about vapeing, I went out and bought the "Deluxe" 2 piece from South Beach Smoke. Aside from the HORRIBLE customer service, I can say I really like the product after one week of use. I haven't smoked any analogues and I'm stoked about that.

I am having trouble finding blanks for my setup. I believe it's a KR8-D2 thread but that's soley from my googling. Anyone else have the Deluxe from SBS that can set the record straight? I ordered an adapter recently, but I don't really know what the hell I'm doing so.... I'm off to lurk the thousands of threads here.....

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi and welcome to the forum. Well done for not smoking for a week. That really is a good start to build from.

Before you throw money at the ecig you've got it may be worth considering buying something with a 510 thread on the batteries. There seems to ba an awful lot more accesories and parts available for that type of e cig. A Riva 510 is a very good starter from which you could grow into something better as your taste developes and your needs become more clear to you.

This is only my advice. Others may well advise you that what you have is good enough and point you toward what you want.

Good luck and i hope you don't mind me sticking my two penneth worth in.

South Beach Smoke is about as bad as it gets. I'd ditch them instead of sinking more money into a horrible e-cig. A Riva/kGo would be an excellent upgrade.

I'm not familiar with that brand of e-cig, but most likely you are talking about kr808 cartomizers (or "cartos" for short). There are two distinct product lines of cartos for the slim-style batteries - 510 & Kr808. You can tell the difference by the threaded end of the carto. 510 will have male threads sticking out the end of the carto and 808's will have the female threads inside the carto. you can find tons of options for buying either one from most of the major carto manufacturers out there. some of the brands to look for are boge, smoktech and kanger for starters. so if you do a search for boge 808, you'll find them.

to name a few, here are some places to buy...

My wife and I started with exactly the same kit. They are kr808d2's you can get them much cheaper from AZ Smoke. I just received cartridges from them and they are great.
They do not last a day or day and a half as South Beach claims however. They last me about 9-12 hours depending on how much I vape.
I ordered the GoGo, it has a 1300 mah battery (lasts about 2 days)and a cartridge that holds 3 ml (about 2-3 times more than a South beach cartridge). I am looking to vape all day without hassle so I felt this was the solution for me.

Yes, I don't know if South Beach Smoke are kr808d2's, but if they are then you can get blanks at AZsmokefree.

My first e-cig was a 'Fuma' from a local drugstore and it was a kr808d2 and that was one of the few places I found cartomizers for it.

You can get some of those to tide you over if/when you decide to look at PV upgrades.

My Monday - Friday pv is a kr808d-1

I use it because it fits in my shirt pocket, it's great for stealth and the new design is better than the previous 808. So unless someone mentions the kr808 they might not be thinking performance is very good. I love it because the kanger blanks are great and I get lots of vapor from the new design.

Congrats, Sonny, on your week off analogs!

I concur with just about everyone else: PVs using 510-type fittings are the way to go. Nearly all of the good hardware (by which I mean both cheaper and better performing) devices use 510-type fittings. I'd retire the 808 to backup status.

Holy good advice! Thanks to everyone that chimed in! I ordered a pack of blanks from AZsmoke, and a 10ml bottle of the ECF 2011 juice of the year from Copper Creek.

After reading for quite a while and figuring out what I like personally for vapeing, I think I will make my next PV something I can attatch a rocket launcher onto if need be. I don't mind tinkering and I don't care how big the PV is, I just want to get some tasty vape in my face!

I saw the noob guide said the the eGo's were a good all around PV and that it would probably fit my ballistics requirents for customization. Also saw some mods that looked interesting.

Seriosly, thanks everyone for the great input. What am I gonna do with this industrial size can of Troll-Away if everyone here is so helpful and kind?

PS thanks for the tip LP, this site is a vast sea of knowledge.

The Ego style battery is a perfectly suitable way to get a lot of vapor and taste and TH when you combine it with the right atty or carto. Of course, you've already seen some of the mods and what not that are even crazier, lol.

I use the eGo style with Ego Mega Dual Coil Cartos from MadVapes and its insane even with full PG liquid.
