Why not consider getting a mechanical mod ? They are all i use now. There is no circuits inside, meaning it will never die on you, and as there is no electrics, there is no cut off point which means you can take real long draws.

I have been keeping my eye on this thread as I am going to treat myself for Christmas. Definitely going to go for a mechanical, maybe the Kamry K100, also thinking of getting a rebuildable atty, AGA TD.

I have read about the safety precautions so I shall be using a multi meter and a safety fuse for the battery so I do not build a firework instead!

Sancho - I've heard a few people now saying the MVP 2.0 is great, I might have to give it a try in the future.

Liquidator - I ended up going for the TVS like Terry's got, just gotta wait til Christmas now for it to arrive from FT! I've also been researching battery's and battery safety, I already have a decent multimeter - just need a few decent 18650's now and a good charger.

Still debating the idea of grabbing another electrical though as this mini zmax is ...... me off having to have the tanks so loose they practically wobble, though sense is saying wait til your mech arrives and see how you get on with that woman lol.

Cheers Terry, you've just affirmed my resolve make do with this zmax til my TVS arrives :D

hi mama,

As you have now made a great decision to get into the wonderful world of mech`s, I have to ask you; do you have an rda ? The reason i ask is this... I read in another one of your posts that you build your own coils, And i can recommend a cracking dripper if you are interested.

Hiya, I've got the mini zmax v3, which is nice but I kind of miss my vamo.
I am after another mod, gonna keep the one I've got as a back up - should I get another vamo - was thinking of ordering pink one off FT, or can any of you guys recommend something else (pink not essential lol) and prepared to spend up to £50 not including batteries - The tanks I use are protank 2's and a davide glassomiser and I have a kayfun clone on order from FT if that makes a difference with what mod will work best, cheers.

your clone of the kayfun? it's the Russian? I've been using mine for a month now.. it's amazing...

work's great on my Provari!

Hey Terry, which RDA would you recommend? I've not got one, only been making my own coils a few weeks but I'm hooked hence the RBA on order from FT :D

Hi Hitman, not sure what it is, svoemesto? Kayfun 3.1 clone, I can't wait for it to get here, I reckon my tanks will be in the drawer for a bit lol.

Mama, i would definitely recommend the trident RDA, It is a fantastic bit of kit with variable airflow, can run it with a single or double coil; and dead east to build.

And the gold plated one would look smart on your TVS... http://www.fasttech.com/products/1411/10005256/1436802-trident-24k-gold-plated-rebuildable-dripping

I'll give you a tip.. when filing it from the top. put the cap on one turn. then turn it upside down while holding a finger over the air flow. then screw it on the rest of the way. other wise it will leek..
