Hello all!

I just wanted to update to say I ordered! Ah! I'm so excited!

I went with Myvaporstore.com and ordered the kr808d-1 model E-cig.

I got the manual starter kit that comes with two batts, 6 cartos, and wall/usb charger. I also ordered two five packs of cartos (menthol and coffee) because the cartos that come with the kit are random. Also ordered an extra battery and a basic carrying case.

All for $70. I feel like I made a decent investment as I have heard great things of the 808 e-cigs.

I also went with the priority mail as I am SUPER PUMPED! Ha ha.

I am vaping KR8

I don't know anything about MyVaporStore. They look ok but also compare the prices at VaporLeaf.com and LiteCigUSA.net and take a look at the nice color models at Bloogplanet.com and Vapor4Life.com (V4L probably has the most prefilled cartos)

And get some nice juice because you can refill cartos. If soft cap you can pop that out and drip down the inner sides (take off the battery first and hold a tissue on the threaded end hole - if juice comes through then wipe and dry it well. Then I puff lightly through the threaded end to make sure the air channel is clear of juice.

If the carto has a hard to remove cap then search Youtube for Taryn Spin and watch the two matches for ways to use the carto condoms to get juice out and push juice into a carto.

And I recommend manual batteries and I think most people here would recommend manuals. less work, more consistent hit, and usually safer from drips out of the carto.

Newbie greetings from hot, sunny, and humid Florida! Still smoking analogs here... waiting for my 1st kit to arrive. I decided to try e-cigs after I was still smoking two weeks into my Chantix scrip lol -- or maybe NOT lol. It's not quite the magic pill I thought it would be. Nic cravings are gone but I just can't seem to stop the hand to mouth habit, or the need to inhale something. I was told it takes 21 days to form a new habit but wonder how many days to break a 40 year habit? I have read this forum for two days and gotten a lot of good info., particularly enjoyed the six part series. I took two pages of notes and then ended up so glassy eyed from looking at 4011 websites I said the heck with it and ordered the extreme kit from Apollo. I hadn't read of anyone here who smoked an Apollo but felt the need to simplify this big step into a foreign world. I hope I don't regret that decision. I really wanted a pv that didn't look like an analog but functionality is more important to me than appearance, and we'll see just how functional this model is. I'm still going to have a lot of questions because I know I will be branching out sooner or later, so I'll be counting on y'all! I'll post again when my kit gets here and let ya know how I like it -- or love it. See? Still thinking positively : )

I have both the 510 and one of the new (next gen) KR808D-1 kits. The new 808 is better, IMO. The 510 batteries don't last very long at all and I was burning everything up constantly. I got my next gen 808 kit from Halocigs.com and it's called the G6. Bloog has a similar kit called the Maxx Fusion and Smokeless Image has the Volt kit. If you are going with an 808 you should definitely make sure to get on of the next gen models because they are much nicer and have newer and better technology.

I recommend manual batteries - strongly

You will be adding juice to cartomizers and when a cartomizer leaks it will aim the juice right at where an auto battery can be damaged or killed - the threaded end hole in the battery where an auto battery's drag sensor resides.

I use KR808D-1 manuals from Vapor4Life, SmokelessImage (Volt) and standard Kanger KR808D-1 batteries with the hard gold button
