I'm still adapting to my taste buds coming back to life, and it's getting mighty close to a month. However, the first few days were the pits. Metallic/sour aftertaste that had me switching flavors rapidly (I think that's a detox thing), constant brushing of teeth, the works.
You may find, at least at first, that if you use cinnamon or peppermint-flavored something (Altoids work well if you don't have it as a
juice) in between flavors, it wakes up your taste buds. Other people have found it actually dulls theirs. There's no universal truth on this one, it seems. (For me, it woke my taste buds up more because it was a more potent flavor.)
Then, about a week into it, I tasted a flavor I could only describe as 'cereal'. (It was actually almost identical to Honeycomb cereal taste.) It lingered for a few days, and then intermittently popped back for a few hours here or there, typically when I'd vaped the same
juice for a while.
