Howdy. I have plenty of RBA's and tanks that have threads for bases, caps, tanks, etc. I just got in an AGA-s to try out. No matter how much I work the tank and base, there is a rough spot on threads or metal shard preventing me from completely unscrewing them apart. I have it about half way but my hands just can't do much more. I can dig out some leather to protect the metal and use pliers, that still can pose a risk to marring or even deforming the metal but if there is some trick(s) to try I sure would appreciate.
