So a few months ago I bought a bully knockoff.
I tryed to wrap a coil... no go, ofcourse I Just used the lil bit of wick they sent me... the airflow was so tight on it anyways lol

Regardless, I watched a video on the johnyboy lavagen... I want one, yet I can't afford one. No way no how haha
It's down right expensive (Quality though)

I've done some research and noticed how the AGA-T+ is of the same design... Probably not down to a "T"
Yet it's pretty close.

I want to do a SS Mesh wick (I understand oxidizing and such no need to go into that, don't quite understand the density's 300,400,500, etc. - I figure it has something to do with the density of the juice. I usually like a good ole 50/50 but sometimes I go around 40/60 60/40)
Whats the best wire to use? (2.5-3 Ohms coils please :D)

WHERE CAN I FIND THE AGA-T+ IN STOCK?! I've look on multiple sites, the only thing they have is the smaller version and the one without the plastic/glass viewer :[

Thanks again.
I know its a long read >_<

#325, 400, 500, 600 refer to the density of holes of the mesh. So you could say 325 is 'coarse' and 600 is 'fine.' Some say that the coarser meshes are better at VG heavy juices by my #500 has never had any problem. YMMV.

The best wire depends on what your going to use it on. Mechanical, 28g is widely used and preferred. For VV/VW 30-32g would be better. You can choose between Nichrome & Kanthal resistance wires, but I myself am only familiar with the Kanthal. There is also ribbon wire making the rounds but I'm not familiar with that either (or its sizes/resistances). I've been using Kanthal A1 30awg with great success.

As far as stock, I'm not sure, they seem to be selling well though. I'd assume that the Youde/UD factory has been playing catchup since the Chinese New Year.

Some may only sell the AGA-T+ which is the one that comes with plastic, but they probably sell the glass tank for a few dollars as an extra. I know some vendors were selling the -T+ with a free glass tank. The only difference between the -T+ and the -T2 is the glass, other than that they are identical.

Ah thank you kindly sir.
I did find a vendor just now, it's a few dollars more than the other places but it's the price you pay for supply vs. demand :p

I think I'll start with 400 Mesh and 32awg Kanthal, I have a VAMO
So I'm guessing I don't need a multimeter? I mean I have one in the house I just don't wanna have to ask my buddy to find it lol

Hey nfmous!

You might find the airflow on the AGA-T+ a little tight as well. (I do)
It's still a nice vape though.
I'm gonna go buy a few small drill bits when I get a chance to make the draw a little lighter.
Smallest bit I have right now is a 1/16th and that may be too big.

I use a Vamo as well.
Currently using 30 AWG Kanthal 5/6 wrap around a 3/32 drill bit @ 1.6 ohms.
500 mesh wick lightly oxidized @ 40mm x 60mm, wrapped around a small paper clip, then rolled a little tighter to slide into my coil.

I have an aga-t2, I love it until about two days after my wick has been in it. I dont blame the aga but the wick stops producing like it would the first couple of days. I dont know if i am rolling the wick too tight or if there is such a thing but it just stops to wick as good. I am using 400 mesh with a 70/30 vg-pg fluid. I tilt and vape but it really doesnt help that much. Anyone else ran into this problem when they were a noob like me

I am vaping 65/35 I use a paper clip to roll the wick. And I leave a little hole in the center of the wick so I don't have to tilt the thing for 10 seconds waiting for some juice to wick.

Make sure when you roll your wick you're rolling it with the "grain" going up and down the wick, not side-to-side. It makes the difference between a tube wick that barely keeps up with the fill hole open, to a solid wick that vapes completely vertical with the fill screw in.

I'm not sure why this isn't more widely discussed here -- it makes quite a bit of difference.
