Aloha guys & gals,

I've added a new review to my channel about our beloved AGA-T+

Just got new editing software, so I'm working out the kinks with that, learning as I go... But, I don't want to delay the videos any more than necessary, so until I get it figured out, things will just be a bit strange...

So, I'm still working on a more defined format for talking points during these videos, finding a spot in my house to do them where the background noise isn't crazy and the background doesn't so closely match the color of my face... Haha!

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy it! Any questions or comments you guys can leave them here, or comment on the video on YouTube

Thanks for watching!

enjoyed the vid, one thing that might make the top spot issue, less of one is to make the wrap to the top nut in the opposite direction of the wick wrap, this will keep more contact to the wick. also it would make for less tension. by having it the way you do in the video, you need extra tension on the wire to hold that wire against the top of the wick. if it came across the back of the wick to the top nut, that in itself holds the wire against the wick, without the added tension. that opposite direction helps some of the tension. or if you keep it the way you have it just kink in the wire behind the wick just a little, before attaching to the top nut, this also helps with the top hot spot. also im not really that sure but it seems not to be wicking as well as it should. i say that because it seems like you need to do a lot of primer puffs before actually inhaling the vapor. or maybe its just because you were vaping it at really low volts. 500 mesh wicks the best with a really solid wick, using a size of at least 4 inches of mesh to start. with my aga-t, i use a 4 1/2 piece of mesh x 1 5/8. i know i am late to this post and that you may have already worked out some of these things already.

Nah, not yet... After I made this video and found out that 45mm^2 was probably not enough wire mesh, I immediately bought some more, 2 6x12" sheets of 400 & 500 mesh, along with some 30 and 28AWG wire to try out several different options. Once I find out what works WELL (for me anyway) I plan on doing a follow up video that covers the wicking process (washing, oxidation, rolling, and all), how to wrap the coil (hopefully without shorting)... May take a while, but I got enough wick and coil material to give it like 30'ish good tries! LoL

Should have all that tomorrow, so I may have the follow up vid sometime over the weekend.

This one is a bit embarrassing... But I thought it was funny that it popped as soon as I fired it... That was firing at 3.5V, and POOF. Awesome! :)

awesome, once you get the video down, i am sure its going to help out alot of people. i know you said you were partial to a higher resistance but if your getting some 28g you have to try a lower resistant coil. i know the device you have only goes to like 1.3 ohms, but if you can obtain somewhere close to this, like 1.3 at 4 volts, i think you will really like it. for one i believe the thicker the wire, the better the taste. also with the thinner wire, like you found out will pop if you have a short, it just doesnt give you any time to prod the wires, with the thicker wire there is almost no chance of that. but you do eat up the batterys faster because of the higher amps. but that the fun of these, you have so many ways to make a set-up. i am definately a low res guy, love a coil at 1 ohm, but you need a mechanical mod or a provari v-2 for that. i have tried higher resistance set-ups and just find them harsh and more of a metalic taste, maybe it has to do with higher volts. thanks buddy and good luck

I have a ProVari V1 I picked up for a heck of a deal in the classifieds on its way, gonna send that off to ProVape for a V2 upgrade as soon as it gets here.

I think I can go down to 1.2 ohms before the Lavatube or Vamo will call the coil shorted. I may just have to do like 8 wraps with the 28AWG wire. I'm alright with that...
