The setup is a 4/5 wrap of 32 kanthal running at 8 to 9 watts with a mesh wick I've been using for about three weeks. The coil has been used for around two. The issue is the SVD cuts off like it encountered a short randomly but works fine the rest of the time. I'm wondering if the coil needs to be changed. I haven't even searched the forum because I'm not sure what to look for so, if there is already a thread about this a link would be wonderful.
