That shouldn't happen at all.

What mod are you using, and what kind of batteries are in it?

What is the resistance of your coil (ohm rating) and at what voltage are you using?

Meanwhile, work on getting your post count past the minimum of 5 and at that point you can ask the experts using rba's questions here:

Im using the atmizoo roller with either a aw 650 or panasonic 650. 6 wrap 26ga @ .8 ohms. I think there may be connectivity issues because it just doesnt seem to fire like it should, on a dry fire it takes a few seconds for it to heat up all the way but all the coils heat up from the center like its supposed to. it does hit well right now its just slightly heating up at the bottom and sometimes the side of the roller, like I said I had prior problems with the center pole of the aga and having a major short with the battery basically burning me, I had a friend help me fix it by putting a O ring over the 510 part of the AGA. So basically I am trying to figure out whether it is the aga or the roller, hopefully just the aga because the roller is less than a week old.

i wouldnt call it extreme, i think its just a case of chinese mass manufacturing, i just hit it again with the multimeter, now it reads 1.0 steady. I just get worried about this heating issue, which is not really bad as far as how hot it gets but like I said in the original post I heard that there should be no heat on the tube at all and I wonder if theres a connectivity or conduction issue im missing.

unregulated with a .8 ohm coil on a fresh battery you well into the 5amp/20 watt range and the battery is going to heat up if trying to vape heavy on this.
either go to a protected battery
get a kick
or get a 2cent fuse and just keep going.

or just go easy on it.

or try getting into the 2ohm range and lowering your wattage output a bit.

This is not a case of Chinese manufacturing. The reason the resistance increased is because of oxidation. Everyone with rebuildables knows that the resistance changes with use.

The heating up is likely because you're driving too much power. Also, if your atomizer is hot, which is more likely, it could conduct heat to the battery tube.

so i just made a new coil, 32ga @ 1.7ohms, I think it is something wrong with the roller, it just does not fire correctly. anybody have any ideas? the coil wick and coil work perfectly fine, but it seems that there is something going wrong still. anybody know any problems with the roller that I might need to address? My friends 69 mod fires up in a second while my roller takes few seconds to heat up.
