AGA-T2 post moving

Just got an AGA-T2, and after a few days of use, it seems like the post is moving so I have to fiddle with my telescoping tube mod to get a connection Sometimes Ive taken off the AGA-T2 to find the silicon seal around the center post has slipped over the post presukably preventing contact. Any advice? Tried tightening down the last nut but that didnt do anything
