You don't have to torch the wick. Search for pulse method. Hit Phil's site and search the blogs for eHuman

You should run the mesh over a lighter for a bit just to burn of any contaminants. And yes, you can wick it with anything your heart desires.

Ok so you don't have to use a torch for the mesh then. That is why I pretty much am afraid of doing mesh build. Fear of the torch! If a lighter will work for that too I might be in business

You Tube will be your friend. :)

The very best video that I learned the most from was the demo that Zen did for his ZAP for Provape. It can apply for any Genesis-style rba. Step-by-step instructions, including the pulse mode oxidation method. Z-ATTY-PRO Rebuildable Atomizers For ProVari - YouTube

PBusardo shows a few different methods to use with the AGA T. A PBusardo Review - The AGA-T(s) - Part 2 - Assembly & Building Tutorial - YouTube

I also highly recommend finding eHuman's blog on the AGA. He was my tutor. E-Cigarette Forum - eHuman - Blogs

I've been at it for 2 days now first 2 tries I was getting 1.5 to 2.2 olm but after a few minutes it was not working or I was getting burned taste this morning I retried and it was worst perhaps i cut the mesh to small next i'm going to try the twisted coil metod, what size do you guys usually cut your mesh about?? I'm using 400 mesh and 30 kenthal and SVD,Provari I may also try silica wick as well loks a lot easier.
Any comments are appreciated.

I fell like it's not wicking at all...

Your wick might not be tight enough.
I just got my AGA-t2 today and used the piece of 400 mesh it came with. I did a small fold and creased it tightly(like PBusardo does) then rolled it from there. After it was rolled I just rolled it back and forth between my index finger and thumb until it tightened up. It's hollow with about enough room to stick a small paper clip in it. It wicks so well I run my 1.5 ohm coil at 5v for 30+ seconds without it drying out at all. This was my 1st time doing this too. I watched about a dozen videos on how to do it. I rolled my wick at Chili's bc i couldn't wait to get home to start playing with it.

Ok, so I'm running into a problem with building this &#$^@ thing. I started out at 1.5 ohm, but now it's sitting at 1.1, and my Vamo won't fire because it's too low. I'm concerned about using it on my 5V GLV-2...I feel like I'm going to blow it up. Help!

Try poking and prodding your coils. The resistance changes almost everytime you reposition a coil. My coil has switched between 1.2-1.7 ohms.

Pictures would greatly help with a diagnosis.

Ok, so here's my setup...my ohms are jumping all over the place when I fidget with the wraps, but mostly they're sitting at 1.0 - 1.1. I switched from 4/3 wraps to 3/2 wraps and it didn't change a thing. Still the same readings. 2013-04-23_23-58-23_899.jpg
