I'm fixin to try and put all the knowledge and info I've gathered here at ECF into building my first rba. Mailman dropped off a new AGA-T2 and all my supplies yesterday. I'll post my results later. Wish me luck and thank you all again for all the help.

congrats, i just went into a shop nearby and got a smoketech rda to start off. Im just now getting started on reading into the forum to see what i can find to help
1st try...Not so good. My evic says no atomizer found. Not sure if my ohm's are to low or what. Time to research and pick some minds.
I had the same problem with my first build, make sure that the center post is tight.

I re wrapped the center post from the other direction and there she was 1.7 ohms. Gonna do some tweeking and report back.

Sounds like the center post is not making contact. Unscrew it a bit on the atty where u can feel the resistance.

Well my tank wasn't assembled good and was leaking and the evic was seeing the atomizer sometimes and sometimes not so I re wrapped it. Now I can't get my ohms above .9 and the evic doesn't like that. I'm using 28 awg kanthal and I even Wrapped up to 7 wraps but still no luck. Any suggestions?
That's what I was thinking too tj99959. I only ordered 28. Guess I'll have to order some and wait some more.
Went to my local B&M Vintage Vapors and they didn't have 32. But a regular was in there and got the owners toolbox and found some 30. Wrapped it with a 5/4 wrap and it turned out to be 2.8 ohms. Since then I have removed the atty a few times and when I put it back on the ohms keep dropping. It's down to 2.1 ohms now, is this normal?

I'm waiting on a mech I got in on a pre order. Figuring I can use the evic to learn to build some rba's before it gets here.
