I picked up an AGA-T2 after watching the pbrussardo video on coiling a Genesis style atomizer. I figured it was a cheap way to try out and rba. I was using my nemesis with a trident and loving it, but it sucked on the commute to and from work.
It took me a few tries to get it right, but after watching the video below, I was able to get rid of my hot spots at the top of the coil and get this thing going. All I can say is that I'm loving it, same throat hit as the trident but I don't have to drip in it.
I used 400 ss mesh and 3 full wraps of 28 gauge kanthal that I got a 25 ft. roll of on eBay for ~$3 shipped. I picked up another AGA-T2 on the cheap and I'm gonna try that one with silica to see how I like it. I did get better flavor on the trident with silica and I'm wondering if the difference is the mesh.
In any case, I'm pretty damn happy. I'm just gonna play around with some different wicks to see if I can get the flavor close to what I was on the trident.
