If you want to wrap a lower ohm coil, you need to use a lower awg wire. try 28awg kanthal.

For the taste issue, Are you rolling a new wick every time?
From my (all be it, limited) experience. New wicks have a bit of a break in period, but you can recoil an old wick.
My coils have been lasting 2-3 weeks (maybe longer but I recoil when I want to change flavors), and I've been using the same wick for 4 coils now. New coil on and old wick and no taste issues.

you are getting little vapor with the kick because the kick is held to only 10 watts. with 32g and a 2 ohm coil you would need to be at around 5 volts for some good vapor, this would equal almost 13 watts. so kick the kick and up the volts a little, this should give you more vapor. as for the flavor, this can be alot of things, most likely an unstable coil. if you cannot resolve with 32g try 30g instead and lower the resistance and volts.
