I had so much problem with the aga-t2 the first time before I got it to work right. My solution was to torch the wick a lot more than people said, maybe 10 or more times total. After rewick/recoil, I still had the hot spot and burned taste/smell. For this issue, I used a needle nose tweezers to space and tighten the coil.

I appreciate your input, but I would like to get at least one working stainless coil before I write it off.
