You guys are awesome! Now I'm undecided on my choice I just don't want any leakage because I tend to just put it in my purse ekkk lol! I'm so new to this so it's a bit difficult it just sucks because none of my peers don't vape and if they do there still smoking on ego batteries so I have no hands help on this kind of stuff .. Boo

Ooops, then maybe you should start with something other than a Genesis type rebuildable. Most have to be kept upright to prevent leaks. Those that won't leak by design will certainly cost much more, like the Arrow.

Non Genesis types like the kayfun don't leak too. But again, they aren't cheap. The clones may just work as well. I don't know, as I don't have a clone to compare it to. Maybe someone can recommend one.

The stock draw on mine was the tightest draw I've experienced yet. throathit was intolerable. Maybe they drilled them a bit bigger in more recent runs?

IIRC the stock hole was around 1/16". That's the same size as the three holes on an evod. Except There's only one of them.

I bet you never had to depend on a M403 auto batt for your only device:)

Never would have. The only tobacco products I have enjoyed are pipes, cigars, and hookahs.

Always been about enjoyment for me not a fix. I'm not a nicotine junky.

To the op. If you want to try a cheap rba that won't leak check out the rocket rba on fasttech.

It's like 12 bucks and you can find out if you like the kayfun types.

I've got a Rocket coming from FT to try out. I've heard good things about them, both that they don't leak no matter what and that they perform great. I have also heard they can be a challenge to set up, but then so can the AGA-T ;). A positive is no SS mesh. A negative is it's got a plastic tank. Rocket at Fasttech. I think US retailers carry these, or something close to them, too but not sure.

For more info on them Google how to set up the Kayfun, it's done the same way. There's a lot of talk about Kayfuns and clones in the RBA forum here.

Decisions, decisions ... but FT prices prices make it pretty painless to try things, unless you want it quick. And once you know what's right for you you can buy better quality :thumb:

True. That is a good plan to test the waters but I just can't buy the rocket. It looks lower quality than my current FT RBAs.

I use an AGA-T2 with a cotton u-wick and a micro coil. I just set the coil on the cotton rather than try and thread the wick through the coil. Turd in a diaper or something like that, but i modified it with a cotton u-wick.
The wife says it looks like I got a loogie floating in my tank lol.

I have yet to get good AGA-T performance on the diaper. What kind of plume are you getting w/ cap off?

I am using AGA T-2 on an Astro clone in 18350 mode.

Attached the device to my mod. Screw down the first two thumb-nuts on to the positive post, one-at-a-time.

Used a 3/32 screwdriver to make coil.32 Kanthal. 5 wraps.

Attach neg lead. Attach pos lead, trying to make it shorter.

Ohms read at 2.1. Glowed the coil to set. 400 mesh, 30/30 mm square. Oxidized, rolled solid and tight, juice burn. Dry burn, even glow.

50/50 pg vg Ry-4, vaped great!

My fav AGA build to date. The cap doesn't get hot like on my previous builds. Giving my RDA some competition.

Is that cotton? I bought an aga-t2 a few months ago and ive been fiddling with it. i tried different size mesh, hollow and solid, i followed many many tutorials like p.busardo's and i got it working fine. I will say that i dont think i like the taste of stainless mesh. It has a certain taste that i just cant get over. I dont have hot spots. I tried from .6 ohm to 1.8 ohm. 28g kanthal to 32g kanthal. I tried uber-oxidizing it. Quenching it and not quenching it. no juice burns, 3 juice burns, 10 juice burns. i tried the cotton on SS method in riptrippers video (where he lightly fluffs cotton over the area where the coil touches). I just cant get it to work like i want with any decent taste.

My favorite vape to date is a dual coil dripper with cotton wick. I would love love love to replicate that taste in a tank so i wouldnt have to carry a bottle around with me. I like my kanger tanks but they don't come close to comparing with my dripping attys.

Has anyone perfected a cotton genesis build? I love the taste cotton gives but when i tried it in the aga-t i had to keep the dang thing tilted. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I love the idea of the genesis and i can see how it would be an amazing atty but it is just sitting on my ecig rack collecting dust. I would really really love to get it working well with cotton.

Also i just noticed you're using twisted kanthal there. Have you found that works better with cotton? did you twist it yourself?

Cotton very loose in deck hole like rip's auto dripper.
Pack cotton medium firm inside coil w/ drill bit; I don't like loose cotton in coil.
VG up to 30% wicks very quick; no dry hits at all.
Drill twisted kanthal 30ga wire seems to stay wetter.
I like 5/64" ID coil from 0.9 to 1.7 ohms at 3.7 volts.

This lil cobra gives my best dripper a real run for the money. The AGA-T2 is slightly behind; some say coil needs to be as close to air hole as possible; I'll try that next AGA build.

I found my cobra build notes. They are both 3/32" ID coils; not 5/64". Both built 11-14-13. 1.0 and 1.2 ohms. This one looks dirtier but still vapes good. For awhile I've been vaping 30% VG in dirty one and 10% VG in clean one. Perhaps higher VG deposits coil gunk quicker? Pretty sure more vape time on 10%. Unflavored in both.

Tis possible I dry burned a coil but don't recall.

I think my problem is i have been using higher vg mix. Tried 100%VG, 70VG/30PG, and i just built one with 50/50. The 50/50 is definitely easier to wick. Thanks for the pics and info emus
