I've been using my UD AGA-T5 for the past week and love how it vapes. For me the flavor is comparable to my real KFL+V2 but with an easier draw. This device could easily be my number 1 if the atty base was easier to grip.

What I'm looking for help with is the atty base. The bottom cap can stay with the mod and unscrew from the atty base. When that starts to happen, it's very difficult to correct since the AFC ring is slightly raised above the atty base grip points. This is a real problem since the bottom cap also unscrews the center pin from the positive block. (Been there already) Should I try blue thread-locker to keep the base together? Or plumbers tape?

Also, has anyone notched their atty base and SS bottom cap for better grip? I was thinking of taking the airflow-control ring off and draw a triangle file across the atty base to make a poor-man's knurling job. Of course I would return the AFC ring after I'm done.

Any thoughts, alternatives or better idea? Thanks all.

Well, no one seemed to have any ideas on this matter. hehe Or no one else has one of these devices. Soo, I just used my Sears Robo Grip pliers to further tighten the SS bottom cap to the SS Atty base after I got it hand tightened. So far so good. Guess I'll put the thread locker and files away, whew!

Glad you found a way to make it work. The T5's are still pretty new. You might try asking on this thread too, it's had some amount of activity:

I'm not sure what you are asking about notching the base and bottom cap for more grip. I just received mine and so far so good. I can unscrew the T5 off my mod without any problem like unscrewing other parts of the tank.

In fact, I have met one problem so far and maybe what you're asking is related to my problem. When I screwed it on my mod, I accidentally over-screwed (as there was not a lot of resistance to hint me to stop). In fact the pin from my mod that touches the positive screw was pushing on the screw (and into the resistance positive bloc inside) until the small plastic insulator piece broke. This means that when I screw the tank on my mod, I can't tight it at all, I have to stop when the pins are barely touching and it is very loose. Otherwise, it pushes up the screw inside. A solution I think will help me solve this problem is to use a different kind of insulator instead of that cheap piece it comes with (I think it is too soft/compressible and fragile and this allowed the screw to move up). I would need something harder like a plastic washer or some sort that would stop the screw from pushing in. It should as well offer me some tension when I attach the tank to my mod at once. I also thought to used some heat-shrink instead (using a suitable thickness) for insulation. What do you think should be a suitable solution?

BTW this tanks is amazing otherwise !
