AGA TD top cap

Anybody have trouble getting the top cap on and off an AGA TD? I find it requires to much force to get mine off. Or am I just losing my grip ?

First order of business on most toppers is to remove 1 o-ring. Then lube w/ juice.
My 1 o-ring AGA-TD top is perfect for me; a little snug.
IGO-W cap is looser which is ok since cap is frequently pulled to drip.
I often fill Genny inspired tanks by dripping so don't remove top that often.
I would prefer caps to come w/ one hole drilled through cap and other potential hole sites dimpled for easy drill.
I like the AGA-TD large deck holes; pretty good topper out of the box.

Sorry about the late response people, mother nature has been getting the upper hand with these constant snow storms.

Yes I tried lubbing them with vg, doesn't seem to make a difference. The cap is fairly thick, I'm going to try to hone it a little from the inside and see what happens. thanks for the responses.

I've noticed with UD some caps are tight and some are loose.
My TD is just about right but on the tight side. With my T2's one is good the other was way too loose. My IGO-W is way too tight.

If 1 o-ring brings no joy FT has a selection of o-rings.

I have several UD gennies the TD is the only one I have that requires pliers to remove. I thought maybe the one I have wasn't machined properly but it seems that its a common problem with the TD.
