Aside from being a PITA to recoil, mine is vaping like a champ! Or better said, was on the first set up with 32g. Recoiled with 30g, but the lag is a bit long to start. Going back to 32g... Did open up the smallest airholes to 3/32ths. Since there's 2 holes its like one 6/32nd hole. IMHO, it's an OK Atty just a bit weird. :what:

That's how I opened mine. The smallest were insanely small, I didn't even have to try them.

I don't mind mine. It's actually doing very good with a DIY mint, much better than a T2 is doing with JC Tundra. I just don't see much need for duals, I get just as good of vapor and flavor from ribbon micros (trying to figure something like that out for the T2s).

Heat up time isn't even that bad now that I have the wick broke in and took a wrap off so it would be a true 1.2Ω (after it broke in the first time it bumped up to 1.5Ω). I think ceramic may remove a lot of the building headache as long as it can feed fast enough.

You are definitely right about ceramics! That's what I got in mine. 2 1/8th AO white wicks using 50/50 PG/VG Wicked Berry Blast. Recoiled using 32g kanthal and all is good again :D

I bought a couple of these. My first set up was dual SS mesh topped rope. It vaped well enough, but the total diameter of the wicks were too small to fill the wick hole, leading to a bunch of leakage problems.

On the second build I substituted the mesh with some Ekowool around the rope. No leaking issues so far, and the vape is Massive!

The center post to wick hole gap is a non-issue (no hot spots on a proper set up), but the lip / juice well does make for tight and tedious assembly. With the Ekowool/SS rope, I wrapped my coils with the wick in my fingers, then slid the wick in and affixed the kathal to the attie. Definitely the easiest approach with Ekowool/SS rope, since the rope is stiff enough to get a great even snug wrap.

The build will fire for several seconds with the cap off, fully vertical, without a hot spot. Of course while vaping, I'm drawing liquid up even more with suction, so the need for gennie tilt is zero.

A bit fussy, but I like it.

Do they give you a plug so you don't have to use it as a dual coil? It also looks like it can break apart like the AGI. Dose it function as a dripper..without the tank needing to be attached?

No plug. Also no rogue hole to have a single hole for a single coil.

Tank needs to be attached, but you could use it as a dripper or an auto dripper.

That screw set up is a serious flaw. You can't wrap identical coils with one having the wire start at 4 and coming off at 6 while the other starts at 8 and comes off at 6.

There's about 1/3 of a wrap difference between the two coils.

You can make them equal by going clockwise on one and counter clockwise on the other. Not ideal, but it can be done.

That's what I did and have one that is firing equally now. (And with stacking in a Vamo at 5+v @ 1.4Ω is working like I've imagined duals should work.)

It requires carefully holding one from moving in and the other from moving out as you tighten the screws (both positive and negative screws want to act the opposite doing mirror image wraps so it still leaves a lot of room to have one slightly out of sync with the other, I kinked the wires so I'd have a reference point).

I'm considering whether I can knock the silica post out and tap that hole for a negative screw. It looks like it's in the right position.
But now that I have coils that are working hopefully needing to do it again will be a ways off.

Got mine in today tried like 5 different setups with mixed reviews then the 6th configuration blew me away.

Ended up with dual ceramic wicks and 7 wraps of .5 ribbon wire on each coil for 1 ohm exactly.

The air holes were too small so I drilled out to 1/16 and that was just a touch too big, but turning the cap slightly closes off about 20% which is perfect for me.

Vapor is good, not as much as my dripper but the goal wasnt to chase clouds with this one. Flavor is what knocked my socks off. Its amazing, better than my zatty. I have a feeling that the zen is gonna be sitting on the shelf for a while.

The only con I have for the aga-td is that it is a juice hog and only holds 2 mil of liquid. But for the damn near perfect vape it provides I can deal with filling up a little more often.

Ceramic is definitely the way to go. Much less of a headache than dealing with shorts.
1/8" had quite a bit of a gap and allowed liquid to flow faster than the stock mesh straw style wick. I stuffed little pieces of rolling paper in the gap and that slowed it down but I think it would still drain the tank if laid down for long.

I have a question about taste. I have the aga td and I get no flavor from my juices. I am using vaperoo cinnamon bun and waffle flavor. I have had it rebuilt twice by 2 different shops, not yet comfortable doing it myself, but nothing has helped. I lend it to my wife and she says she can taste it a little, but nothing like people claim. It looks like the last shop used mess with a 4 wrap coil, gets great amounts of vapor, but no flavor. What can I try? Links to things I can order would be great. I read about ss rope, is that an option?
