Too late. Mine showed up today.

Initial thoughts were, "Holy crap! Those wick holes are huge."
Second thoughts were, "Building a dual coil genny in this is way more than twice as much of a pain as building a single coil in the T2."
Third thoughts are, "I might have to start stacking in a Vamo." (Probably not but it has the same problems the last time I tried to build a non-sub ohm dual coil, it takes too long to start producing vapor.)

Thought I had a stroke of genius and tried to make a shorter Aga T with parts from the TD. Center post on the TD is smaller diameter than on the T. T's deck won't screw on to it. I prefer the rim-less deck of the Aga T but the shortness of the TD. Wish UD made all their stuff compatible... would make their products very customizable. The could even sell separate decks for various setups and bottom pieces and center posts of various lengths with matching glass sizes. And hybrid connectors for their new mech mod. It would make their line-up far more interesting than most of the higher end stuff, imho.

I've come to the conclusion that I'm not too fond of the TD. The deck rim makes it annoying to set up. Negative screws are too close to the wick holes. Just feels a bit cramped. Air holes in the rim don't perfectly line up with the wicks. Maybe that's just mine. Wick sits waay too far from the center post for this thing not to come with a washer out of the box. Love the huge wick holes, tho. Vapes well, but it's just too much of a hassle, imho. Off to drill out the wick holes on an Aga T ;)

Negative screws are too close to the wick holes.

Most definitely on that. I had to pry both away from the screw to keep them from shorting on it.
Next time I change the coil I'm going to take some off the screw heads to give a little more room there.

I also don't like the screws on the same side like they are.

Are you familiar with fly tying at all? I was thinking of something like a bobbin to feed the wire down in there to wrap coils. Cabela's Bobbin : Cabela's

Not too familiar with fly tying, to be honest. I only recall a cousing being into it when we were kids and have wondered if one of those spinny/wrappy thingies would be awesome for making micro coils.

Think I will sand down my screws a little as well. Currently contemplating if I should simply dremel down the rim next to one of the wick holes. Since mine's not perfectly lined up, this would also make it viable for using the current air holes with a single wick setup without drilling an additional cap hole. Haven't gotten around to doing that yet. I don't care much for dual wick setups. All I want from the TD is a shorter Aga :)

I see the TD as an evolutionary side-step. Still love UD for trying out different things and slapping a very affordable price tag on it. So affordable I have no qualms taking a dremel to their gear to experiment a little.

Not a good one for going out and about. With 2 large wicks it can be a leaker if set down. At first I set it down and when I went back to it it was drained. I thought it may have been a gasket so I tightened it up, made some little mesh plugs for the wicks so they were such large air holes. Set it back down and it eventually started dripping. Slower than the original dump of all the liquid but not so long as to be able to set it down for a yoga class or sit with it horizontal in my ecig pocket (probably about equal to a leaky Vivi-Nova tank in time but a bigger leak).

I imagine even ceramic would have this problem with 2 holes so one can become air in and the other air out.
My normal single wick T2's with a mesh tube wick don't have a problem leaking when set on their side unless I have the fill screw out.

I just got mine! Set it up with dual ceramic AO white wicks, 32g round kanthal (5 wraps ea. wick for total 1.4 Ω) @8W its a little slow to go... @10W vapes great! Reduced chamber makes flavor INTENSE! I'm feeling this TD

No hot spots w/out washer. Did add the extra center post nut, to get more height for coil; fits great under cap... So far so good

@elCruz: Are you having problems with over-wicking like Myk? He's running SS rope but I'm about to change over to ceramic so...

No, don't think so. Consistent juice flow till about the 1/4 tank mark then have to tilt a bit more. I use 50/50 juices mostly, too. Alumina Oxide (white) wicks a bit faster than fc2k (grey) wicks also. To be honest, never heard of "over wicking" on a Genny tank... But I'm sorta nOObish :D

I'm guessing he means leaking when set down.

Decided to make mine permanently single wick. Dremmeled down the lip along one of the wick holes for easier access and shaved down the neg screw a little. Since the lip air holes was not perfectly aligned with the wick, I did not need to drill out a new air hole for single wick use, now that the lip is gone on one side.

The extra large wick hole seems like a double edged sword. With so much wicking material, you're bound to get residual heat when done vaping. Which leads to condensation build up. Mine is always leaking out some hole or the other. Could use a straw wick or such, but that sort of takes away the benefit of more wicking material.

To be honest, I'm not overly thrilled about this atty. It works, but there's "something" hard to specify that makes it less of an atty than my ordinary Aga T's. Its not bad... guess it's just personal preference.

I'm with you on this one. Stock, the TD kind of sucked. The draw was too tight and the excessive height of the deck rails would cause liquid buildup which led to an irritating whistle, then gurggle and then eventual clogging. I've now set up mine single coil, put the extra deck screw in the fill hole , shoved an AGA-T insulator into the second wick hole and added a washer from a Steam Turbine Clone onto the center post. The insulator in the wick hole still leaves enough room for needle filling and the washer shortens the positive leg distance. I also sanded the inside of the top cap and removed one of its o-rings, because the fit was too darn tight. All that along with a bored-out air hole have together amounted to a decent vape so far. But what a PITA! I likely wouldn't have even bothered with all that had not my RSST and Fogger and now 2nd I-Atty all crapped out on me in the last week. I have only just now allowed myself to realize and conclude that for all the dollars I've spent (let's not say "wasted") on these far-less-than-perfect devices I could right now be happily taking turns puffing away on a Russian and a Squape. Or some such pair of expertly crafted atties. But it's the journey, right?

How did the RSST crap out??? How can any RBA crap out?

Aside from being a PITA to recoil, mine is vaping like a champ! Or better said, was on the first set up with 32g. Recoiled with 30g, but the lag is a bit long to start. Going back to 32g... Did open up the smallest airholes to 3/32ths. Since there's 2 holes its like one 6/32nd hole. IMHO, it's an OK Atty just a bit weird. :what:
