Nic strength doesn't tell you all that much, particularly if you don't take the type of equipment used (power, airflow) and the amount of juice consumed per day into consideration.

Yup, and imo age doesn't have anything whatsoever to do with nic level. That's why I suggested he compare other stats, (time as a smoker, juice used per day etc), and provided more than what he asked for, (as have others).

Yeah, figured I'd provide more info now, in case he changes his mind about what data he's going to plot, unless he doesn't mind not finding any statistically significant data.

I also have a feeling age isn't going to play much part. I think there are three general types of vapers who use low nic: those who are more interested in the cloud and may not have even smoked, those who have dropped down to low nic after progressing from previously higher nic(weening off), and those who found high wattage vaping and couldn't use higher nic anymore.

And probably statistically nearly insignificant, but...

Casual/occasional/social smokers that just never could handle higher nic.

48 3mg. I use dual coil, .2-.4 ohm clapton builds, RBAs and RTAs in the 50 to 75 watt range (mostly). Haven't used a pre-built coil since I shelved the EVOD's back in 2014.

Honestly, I think you'll find there's more correlation between preferred nic and preferred equipment than age. Would be interesting if everyone who replied thus far went back and edited their equipment specs into their posts.

started with Joye 510 moved to ego w/18mg

NOW:
I want a little nic kick
My All day vape rig:
Kayfun V4 11/12mg nic @380 degres or a 1.2 ohm kanthal coil @ 14/15 watts. I prefer M2L.

My play cloudy rig:
Reuleaux RX200 with a Velocity or Subohm Tank. I prefer 6mg but 3 is OK. I usually run 30 -50 watts
I have a TFV4 also. I like the triple coil and like 3mg in it. Run it at 70-80 watts

I don't think strength is nearly as important as amount. I'm mostly 6mg @ 3mls a day. Or 18mgs of nic per day and I'm 47 and was a pack a day for 25 years with a 5 year break in the middle.

I don't see any possible way to draw accurate conclusions with this data unless we all submit to blood tests. Nic delivery via vapor is inherently inefficient. Then add in the broad range of devices/power/style of use/individual metabolisms and things get quite complicated.

I vape 8 watts @ 1.5ohms and mouth to shallow lung inhale. I much prefer lower power/cooler vapes. I had a stint with low ohm/high power and didn't like it at all. I don't chase flavor or clouds. I just vape to satisfy whatever is it that needs satisfying. My method does that perfectly.

How can we possibly quantify the amount of nic that our bodies are actually receiving? A buddy of mine vapes 20mls/day @ 3mg with high watts and low ohms. Does he actually ingest and metabolize 60mgs of nicotine? No chance. A ton of it is exhaled.

I understand the OP's intent with this data and it's a great idea but without blood testing the results won't really tell us much.

I am conducting a study in my college statistics course in which I am looking to see if there is a correlation between someone's age and the amount of nicotine they use. I need at least 75 data points. I ask that you post your age and the amount of nicotine you use. Please only post if you are at lest 18 years of age. For nicotine, the optional range is from 0mg to 24mg (whole integers only; no decimals). Thank you very much for your time. If any of you wish, I can post the results of this study once I have completed it.
34 - 6mg/mL currently. I started at 12mg/mL when I was 33, coming off of the 'logs after 17+ years. Hepe you get an A:) Please post your finding when all said and done, thanks

Edit, I typically vape about 15 mLs per day on a range of devices and averaging 50 watts. I vape sub-ohm exclusively. I did, however just pick up a BilletBox so that will change my game a little bit:)
