Age verification?

Just made an account and made my first order from Indigo...I guess by law they must verify ones age...Anyone have any idea how long that takes? I see they have not charged my card yet...I got the 'bacco bucket...plus one extra for trial...I had to give up on one company,they had to have a cell phone number...We don't have a cell...So no can buy...I'm 73 yrs. old...Own a home,a car etc..Been here all my life...Indigo uses something called Veratad for age verification...Thanks,Bob

Usually done online instantly. With a 3rd party service when they age verify. You will have to provide birthdate and address along with name.

Veratad takes the information that you provided and searches for matches in public records. As long as their is a record of your name, address, and age then it shouldn't take long. The shops I've used in the past use Bluechek. It's almost instant.

Looked at Veitad site. It is online. They match you from databases to determine age. Looks like they require SS number too.

I will not give out my SS number,I will give my last 4 numbers..I had a problem with vapor beast,called and a very helpful Lady had me set up in 15 seconds on her PC while I was on the phone..Bob

I agree, you're not getting my SS #.
You'll get a piece of bone, count the rings, that will tell how old I am.

MVS uses Veratad. It went through immediately for me just using the information I put in anyway to make the purchase.

It is what they have to do I guess. But why can't they just send out with ADULT Signature required. I have bought wine on line that way and that is all they required.

It may depend on what the vendor set it up as. But they list SSN# privacy tool cloak on their website. But also says only requires name and address.
