AAAAHHHHH!!!!! I cannot be satisfied. I just got some boge regular 510 cartos because I couldnt stand the LR ones, and these dont seem any better. I'm tired of dealing with attys, the tanks are meh, and dripping is to tedious. What should I do, please somebody help!!!!! Oh and I am using an ego, have a reg joye 510 and a couple of autos.

Well, we really can't be of help until we know more about why you didn't like atties or cartos. Otherwise, your only option at this point is to use carts. If you were having problems, then maybe posting them here will produce an answer and help us to help you.

One thing I will tell you, ecigs are tedious. It's not as simple as just pulling out a lighter and lighting up a smoke.

Ok. Well I am very fond of carts but I just feel like always worried that I dont have enough back ups. If I want to vape menthol I have to pretty much dedicate one atty to that one. One day carts will work great, then the next day its constant fiddling with all through the day.

Then by the time I get it to vape to my satisfaction, i've gone through like 8ml of juice. So then its, I gotta order some more juice so i'm stocked up, oh, mabey I should grab another atty or two, and hey those seem pretty good why not try those. 40, 50, 60 dollars later. Then when I get the stuff i'm only satisfied with about one quarter of it.

The small 510 batteries don't provide what sounds like you need. Have you considered upgrading to an eGo or Riva kit? The eGo/Riva's will put out more vapor, flavor, and th versus what you are getting now. Voltage plays a big part in overall use.

check out the liquidnator V4.2 carto mod Worked for me when cartos or tanks weren't enough its a carto/Tank mod. This mod has slotted boge cartos and a tank to hold your juice at the same time so it keeps the carto moist and gives you constant vapes. The liquidnator holds alot of juice about 3.3ml (plus) whatever is in the carto. No need for dripping no need to refill as often. And since the cartos are so cheap now ($1.80 to $2 each) check out Crystal Clear Vapor for a really good deal on cartos. When mine burn out about 2-3 weeks I just throw them out.

That, by the very definition, is the nature of carts and the number one reason I switched over to cartos and dripping. I'm a very heavy vaper (read: nearly plastered to my face all day long, even at work!) So what was it about cartos that frustrated you? I can understand why some people don't like to drip. It does take some practice and patience, but then nearly everything about vaping does.

I do like the vape I get when I drip but then i'm goin around with a bottle of juice in one hand a my ecig in other. I vape obsessivly (if thats even a word) so as to no reason to even put the bottle down. I like cartos or maybe the idea, and was once satisfied with them but that was short lived. I just dont get the vapor and throat hit I am looking for from them.

All I've ever used since I started vaping was an ego battery and a cartomizer. I did try the tank but went back to cartomizers.

A 1000 mah battery and a dual coil cartomizer last me all day, just top it off a bit. Easy peasy.

You could probably make one your self but the truth is I would rather buy one from vaporesence since its ready to be filled and vape when you get it and it has o-rings in the inserts where you put the carto in to prevent leaking and ensure a good seal. I belive the kit comes wit the 2 caps B or W, the polycarbonate tube, 1 slotted carto (2.50 each for extras), your choice of O-ring colors and a free drip-tip 1$ more if you want a colored drip-tip.

Sorry you are having trouble. Believe me when I first started with e-cigs I was having the same frustration. One or two things I would suggest would be to either get a bigger battery and try that with an lrcartomizer or look into getting a bottom feeder mod. I didn't think anything would give me the satisfaction that I was looking for till I got a 1100 ego battery with a lr carto and I also got a bottom feeder 3.7 volt mod with a lr carto. Now I am in vaping heaven. I started using atties at first but just don't care for them much anymore but do have a couple around in case of an emergency. Hope you get your problems worked out

What PG/VG of juice are you using? Thick juices do not work well in cartos. I find 20% VG in a juice is the most VG I can have to get the best continued performance out of a carto.

And what is your problem with cartos? Are you singeing them? Not getting good reuse out of them? I can get 1-2 weeks use out of a Boge if I use a thin fairly clear juice (a juice with no sediment in the flavoring)


This is how I use them:

How I fill
Pop out the soft cap with an unbent paperclip in the mouth hole, very careful not to catch stuffing or the wire loop.
Shake and open the eliquid
Hold a bit of tissue on the threaded end hole, tilt the carto, and add 18+ drops per ml of capacity into the stuffing (Boges are about 1ml)
Clean up the threaded end, tilt open end down into tissue, puff into threaded end to clear air channel (Boges have a defined center air channel and I want to see light through that)
Sop up any loose juice above the stuffing
Cap and let it settle - I lay it on different sides for 15-20 minutes to make sure every bit of stuffing gets damp so I won't singe the carto. if you use thicker juice than me (I use 30% Vg or less, I prefer 20%) then you may need to wait much longer.

While vaping, if the vapor gets a bit light or a bit dry or the carto is getting hotter than normal, I take the carto off the battery and add eliquid. I sometimes use a plastic or delrin drip tip as a mouthpiece on Boge cartos (not to drip into since the juice would head for the central air channel)

Thnx, that is exactly how I fill mine except I let them sit overnight. I just dont get enough vapor from them or the LR. I just want to switch to cartos and get the same or more satifaction as if I were using carts.

Try a cheap bottom feeder like the Old Goat? It's like $30ish, plus you need to get batteries and a charger, but I've *loved* my Reo. It's so much less fiddly than any other method, and it cuts down on the clutter of a zillion cartos laying around, which are a PITA to organize (least for me anyway). You stick the juice in the bottle, the atty on the mod, and voila! Good to go for hours on end. It's great.
