i think codyjo was actually getting his point across without coming across as being a snob. which is exactly what i said initially. "grubby bottom feeders," "use of cost as justification".... i mean i guess in your world there should be nothing that caters to people who are not as affluent. this is america, last i checked. some people actually like walmart and mcdonalds for certain items, and a mom and pops store for other items. i personally choose and prefer the walmart route for my vapegear, i get the variety and experience without sacrificing the coin i do not have at the moment. once settled into a career, im sure i can get the premium stuff, but right now, that would seem unwarranted and irresponsible on my end to spend hundreds of dollars on each mod and atty. i like to have several different tanks with different juices at all times. i feel with the money i put into my 7 mods and dozen genesis attys, i could have gotten one or two solid mods and maybe 2 genesis attys in the high end spectrum. most likely 3 devices total. i would not be satisfied with that limited of variety, that's just me. a watch, a car, a tv, a toothbrush - these are things i am happy with just one solid working model of. but i like my variety in vaping. and i think i maximized what money i had so i will be satisfied for a long time, till i can get myself a Noble1 or caravella or Arrow Atty down the line.
you should be honestly ranting about big chain stores, not china-made vape gear, which is a fraction of a drop in the bucket of the world's economy anyway. it keeps me happy, and i'm sure i'm not making anyone starve when i order my clones. people like you will always exist and people like me will always exist. so there will ALWAYS be a demand for high end, quality gear for discerning individuals, just as there will continually be demand for the affordable knock-offs. don't for a second think that people like me advocating knock-offs will actually bring down the designer-mod industry. it won't happen. why do people still sink thousands of dollars into rolexes when seikos tell the same time, look decent, and can be gotten for 65 bucks? by your logic, rolex would go the way of the dinosaurs and cheap garbage watches would be the sole occupier of the consumer watch industry. but that's just crazy....

What a joke . . . how the **** would you know if you never spend more than $30 on an atty?

One second, let me get out my Zenesis or Penelope for a quick comparison.

Oh wait nevermind, I sold them both months ago because significantly cheaper alternatives perform just as well.

And please don't bring up the age old "ERMAGHERD CHEAP CLONES ARE TAKING MONEY FROM THE MAKERS OF THE REAL THING" argument, nobody's family is going to starve because the new batch of Mod X sold out in 76 minutes instead of 60.

So. Let me get this straight.
I'm a grubby bottom feeder because I would rather use that extra $100+ to take my son go-karting a few times or have a nice evening out with my wife? Maybe actually plan for my future because no chunk of metal is going to suffice when I need to fall back on something financially?
Yes, I can afford a DID. Yes, I can afford just about any high-end device on the market. More importantly- yes, I feel like there are more important things to do with my money, and NOBODY is going to degrade me based on the decisions that I make that only affect me as an individual. Especially not you.
Keep supporting money-grubbing manufacturers if that is your choice. If you think they really give a crap about you as an individual and not just your money, ask your pet unicorn for a ride out of fantasy land so you can ask them yourself. Im sure you get their address and cell phone number with your order..... right?
You are just an order number and a piece of metal in a shipping envelope, just like the rest of us.
but that's where our similarities end.

Point, Steve? I wasnt aware you had a point. Oh, wait, thats because you DIDNT. What you had was a long string of very badly worded nothing.

Its okay Stevie. Instead of logic and evidence you have all these undeniable FEELINGS right? Who cares about physics or mathematics or logic or decision theory when you have a teeny little heart full of feelings, amarite?

Quick economic lesson of the day for ya: no, cheap clones do not, cannot, and will not ever ruin the market or lead it to this futuristic apocalypstic wasteland of all clones. But if you want to spend money to feel more important, to feel like a hero saving the world from its imaginative end, then go ahead. A boy can dream.

SteveW. You are my idol. Why should i, on my student's budget, pay 25 dollars for an AGI, when i can get a DID for over 4x that amount of money. Or i can scour the web an classifieds and find a "used" one, thats at least 2x the agi, cus that sounds awesome. Oh man, where have u been SteveW? The voice of reason! I never knew that atomizers that are sold for over a hundred bucks, sometimes way over, are actually better than sub-30 dollar atomizers. Fascinating. A rolex keeps better time than a seiko? Omgggg, no way! i thought i made a good decision for buying a seiko cus i cant get a rolex at this point in my life, but more simply put, according to you, i am a damn fool. Thanks for this moment of shocking self-awareness!!

**As i blow tasty, glorious, massive, yet somehow inferior clouds on my agi and sigelei 19**
I guess you'll have to sell a kidney so you can finally be able to know what time it is.

I guess because I'm living on my VA disability check and can only afford an AGA T2 I'm a grubby bottom feeder. Thanks for putting my life into perspective for me. You are my hero Steve. We should all strive to be like you. But ,then again, if we were all just like you there would be no one to look down on. What a horrible world that would be.

and to be completely honest.. i do spend a good amount of money on vaping.. but on mods.. i just picked up an Origin today and pre-ordered a SS Chi-You and in the works of securing a King. Meanwhile, I'm currently using a VHO Cronus and a SS Avenger.. all original.. no clones, nothing. we, in our own way, support the makers somehow. not just the Chinese who wanna rip off every design. Like I said and everybody else on this post, if you can't physically prove that your tanks can vape better than our rip offs, your argument is invalid. i've compared a nimbus and a nimbus clone. and my clone hit exactly the same as the original.

My agi tank chipped at the bottom edge. I filled it up with crazy glue. Looks crazy. I think ill wipe off the "UD AGI " from the top cap and sell it as a one-of-a-kind custom tank genesis hybridizeing drippster for $99.97
And i will provide the best customsr svc, if anyone has a problem, i will immediately provide them with the replacement parts, or they can send it in and ill fix it and send it back. Sounds like a good business model
