I've read something that company's are putting out Reserve eliquid steeping them in Oak barrels ? What kind of flavor would it add ? & what would the long steeping process in barrels do ? Thank you

Might be wrong but if I remember right, the oak adds tannins to the finished product.
I mainly posted to say, I would love to try a mellow fruit flavor vape that had been steeped in an old oak barrel that had previously aged some Kentucky bourbon whiskey!

One of my favourite nets from the uk, red vape shade reserva, used oak barrels - apparently bourbon, sherry or whisky.

Cannot say for certain what the impact on flavour is as I have not tried the same flavour without steeping in barrel.

However it does seem to have a distinctive taste profile, similar to say a fine whiskey. Definitely adds something. Definitely a full flavour.

I was fortunate enough to procure a 30ml VCT special reserve forma company in southern ca. Vanilla custard tobacco steeped in an oak barrel for two months. Very nice flavor. Smooth & creamy with a woodsy tobacco flavor on the exhale. Grab one if u can find. They only make 500 or so each year:)
