I have an agr tank and use boge cartos in it. Up until now I have had no problems with it.
The problem I'm having is that the carto either fails or the performance is severely restricted. I've tried too many cartos, most of them from different batches and suppliers.
When I put a fresh carto (fully primed) into the tank it works great for a few tugs and then either stops working or struggles to make any vapour. After dismantling and reassembling it will work great again fot a little while before failing again.
When it fails or struggles I put it into my vamo and test the resistance and it says 9.9 so I'm thinking maybe it's either shorting or I'm unknowingly buying counterfeit boges (they're supposed to be low res but read from 2.2 upto 2.6).
Any suggestions or fixes would be great.
Thanks.

Sounds like you've been getting some bad batches of Boges.

Not knowing your carto priming method used, the lack of vapor and stiff draw could indicate either flooding or a dry cartomizer. I didn't understand when you said you dismantled and reassembled the tank (?).

What type of draw are you using? Can you describe it?

A 9.9 ohm reading indicates a bad coil.

Boge's low resistance is 2.0 ohm. Standard resistance is 3.0 ohm.

You might want to try some Smoktech or Ikenvape cartos and see if you have better luck with a different brand.

Baditude is a terrific source of information and has quite the fan club ;-)

I had two AGR+s and was completely unimpressed with them, threw them out. I found that they suffered from consistent wicking issues, burned out two cartos back to back within 20 draws (not chain vaping). Tried them again a few weeks later with a different pack of cartos and lost three more in less than 1 day. Not sure why they did this to me, but the cartos from the same pack worked fine in my Smoktech pyrex DCTs. I believe that it is a design flaw personally but have nothing but anecdotal evidence. I use Boge cartos and love them dearly. Yes, there are occasional duds, but I find that through Vapelite.info, it is rare. Good luck and have fun!

By taking apart and putting back together the tank I meant by making sure that the carto was properly seated and also to give everything a good clean.
By priming the carto all I do is pull off the plastic sleeves and fill one with juice then slowly push the threaded part of the carto into the sleeve until it starts coming out the otherside and then take the cap off and fill it up. Then I take a few drags on it before punching a hole in it.
When I take a drag I just take a slow gentle inhale.
I will try a different carto brand and see if it is just a bad batch of boges.
