AGT Titanium VS Kanger Protank

First - I apologize if this has been covered elsewhere, I could not find it.

What is the difference in these two tanks?

I really like the AGT (specifically from Phiniac) - because you can add the sandblasted designs/anodized colors.

However, the Kanger is $16-ish and the AGT is $40-ish.

Why the big price jump? They're both pyrex, if I understand correctly. The only difference I see is that one uses titanium and the other is (I believe) stainless.

Thanks in advance.

The Phiniac is a carto-tank, I think. They are hand made & considered some of the best out there.
The Protank is a bottom coil unit. I love mine but some people don't. It supposedly gives a cooler vape & has had various problems easy to find here on ECF.

Correct me if I'm wrong on the Phiniac. I'm not sure what they are made of. I've seen differing views on that.
I wish I could afford a Phiniac.
Good luck.

I'm relatively new to more advanced vaping...but I think its just a regular atty tank.

It seems really nice though...
Ideally, I want a quality tank that allows for great vapor, smooth hits...and is aesthetically pleasing.

That being said, if a KPT is 30 dollars cheaper and is the same or better, I'll go with that.

Hi Somna. The Agt is a rebuildable atomizer tank KIT. You must build, or buy a wick (which usually is stainless steel mesh) then wrap a coil with the appropriate gauge/material(most popular is Kanthal) and then test the Ω load with some type of meter. Fire the coil, relieve all the "hot spots" and then you can fill it with liquid and have a vape...... Look up building Genesis atomizer and watch a few videos. It took me a full week to get a successful wick/coil ...... The Protank on the other hand is just fill it and go, occasionally clean the coil... fill and vape. Those two devices really couldn't be much farther from one another in the practical sense.... other than the fact they both have a glass tank.

Get the protank for now if you think you would enjoy it, start learning about the genesis tanks while you are vaping and eventually you may feel ready to go for a device like the AGT. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.
