I feel you. Every single Xpress line sample size was unavailable! That kind of takes the wind out of my sails, since I wanted to try a variety in smaller sizes first. I'll have to form a "plan B", much more limited. This does make it hard for people like us who are trying to be new customers.

The great Ahlusion irony is that new customers all feel this way (I did). But you'll be hard pressed to find a flavor you don't like, once you've acquired the taste for it. When you come to that epiphany (and I'd almost bet you will), you'll realize that none of your orders will go to waste. Even if you don't like a bottle at first, you probably will after a few weeks.

Everything I know about diacetyl and its substitutes I learned from Mr. Mann.

I am fairly certain we will not see a "custard" being offered by Ahlusion, simply because it cannot be done without flunking the Mass Spec test. Wlad submits all his flavorings/juices to extensive chemical testing; that's why I trust my lungs to him!

Besides, who needs custard when you can have Boba Tea? Although I would love to see if Wlad could make a Vanilla Boba Tea . . .


I got my New Year's Eve order in today: Banana Creme Pie, Orange Creamsicle, and Mango Colada. They smell heavenly!! And while they now begin the Big Steep, I am now allowing myself a rare pre-bedtime vape of Boba Tea Coffee. Yummmmmmmmmmm . . . . .

I'm learning a lot here on this thread. It's good to know that Ahlusion is careful and transparent about their products, but since all vendors aren't the same, we need to be as knowledgeable as possible.

Damn, papa. Well, if it's any consolation, I won't try to make you feel better! Sucks indeed. All I can say is that if the flavor strikes you as decent enough, buy it again but in a reverse ratio as to equal out at 50/50. Still sucks though, but with a couple free samples, maybe it won't have to break the bank. But...wait a minute..how much did you order???

It's happened before, but it was more "grassroots." You would get all of one vendor's fans telling their whole thread full of friends to vote for their liquid or vendor. Make sure you get out and vote!

Grant's Vanilla Custard is partially to blame. I do think it's a very good juice, but it's overhyped because it's released in limited batches. Some of the side effects are a huge demand, people flipping bottles for more than double the price, and numerous competitors releasing their own GVC killers. Again, I'm not knocking the juice as it's something I enjoy.

Having said that, I'd love Wlad's take on vanilla custard. I'm certain his version would own.

I won't knock anyone's hustle, but I recognize a hustle when I see one. Peep game.
