I thought it was more like a shady politician at election time, honestly. I like a couple of things from there, but this was a bit of a turn-off for me. It seems most people didn't see it the way I did, though.

I can see how it could come off as shady. IMO it is a bit shady but as far as marketing goes it was brilliant. It will garner much more business then it drives away.

It's happened before, but it was more "grassroots." You would get all of one vendor's fans telling their whole thread full of friends to vote for their liquid or vendor. Make sure you get out and vote!

It's all really silly.

Agreed. I've just never been pushed like that by a vendor. The vendor, not the fans. I guess I don't like being pushed, cuz I dig in my heels.

I didn't think about the forum part. Good point

Hell, it doesn't matter anyway as from the looks of it, most vendors sell the "finest eliquid in the world!" LOL.

OMG! I just went to the site and saw the pie charts of votes! So incredibly goofy and remarkably delusional to assert honors when a vendor-sponsored campaign is involved. And since I know certain, ahem, vendors read all posts concerning even the slightest reference to them--yeah, son, I'm talkin' 'bout you.

Sorry I dropped it on you and fled, but I was a bit busy. Glad to know that you got an internal drip-o-meter!

LMAO - this little back and forth about Nicoticket was even better than the comparison to MBV. You guys and gals are hilarious! I can't get enough of this or the Natural Tobaccos thread! and Mr. Mann you're killin me - straight pullin people's cards LOL

I will say this - I've had a brief interaction with the owner of Nicoticket, and he was a super nice guy, but told me no sales or discounts likely to happen in the future. Shame because I'm a sucker for a little extra incentive to try a juice I never had, and really need one to be honest. I just think it's a little silly with the whole best of ECF award thing and how he put up the pie charts. It was more than a little over the top.

I can't remember the vendor, but I do remember there being one that put up a little trophy icon along with a few lines from bill's RY4 thread - pretty funny but not as over the top as this.

Wow, you guys getting kind of personal.

It happens.

On a real random tip, I got a Sodastream for X-mas, and let me just say, this thing is spectacularistic! So simple, and although it's over-priced, I've already saved on what I used to spend on sparkling water--the pricey-ness of the unit pays for itself quickly (especially when you drink a liter of it a day like I do). I'll miss opening my cans of La Croix plain, but c'est la vie. I drank about 6-9 cans of that a day. I make some tasty fruit simple-syrups for guests to have a sip at my house. My frequent visitors recently voted my liquids "best soda served at Mann's house!" And I didn't even ask for one vote. To be loved, to be loved, oh, what a feelin' to be loved.

I drink way too much pop, could use one of those. If I'm being honest with myself though, while vaping is equally about flavor and nic for me, soda is around 90% about the caffeine.

sorry RDA

My favorites are the simple small drippers: IGO-S, A6, Cyclone.
