this is the best cotton i've found for RBA's it hold up to heat the juice tastes great and i dont even boil it!
Pros: Great value, Meets expectations, wicks well, tastes great, makes huge clouds, handles subohming
Cons: jeff says it tastes like cotton

Are their any Tube mods with a DNA30 chip

of quality build from a reliable company

The only 1 I know is the ZNA which like you said is a waste of material not what I would choose if there are better tube option's
(and there may be option's I don't know)

however my friend had picked one up and it does not feel bad I would not be unhappy with it

but then again if there are not better options now I am sure there will be soon

Loads of stuff in the works from the usual suspects. I'm sure people will go gaga over Mark Bugs' DNA30 tube mods. Nexgen's Futura DNA30 should be available soon. Fluid's Cyborg has a DNA30 version. All of those will go quickly though, as DNA30 demand currently outweighs supply.

Wow. I'm surprised that many of you dig the ZNA30's form factor. I played with one for a bit and didn't find it much more comfortable than a tube mod. While it's certainly well made and uses great materials, I don't like the design. It's a waste of material to me. I rather have a minimalistic box or tube mod with a DNA30 chip.

Seeing in persons, holding, that makes all the difference. What it looks like and what it is can be two different things. Looking cool and being cool are two very different things.

Holy cow, Batman. The Mark Bugs' DNA30 is....gulp... 399 Euro. Not clear if that includes the VAT, but that rings in around $500.

Keep in mind that it's titanium. Quality titanium mechs cost around $400. Add DNA30 to the mix and things get pricier.

Couldn't agree more.

*biting tongue from discussing QC issues on most of his past builds.

That Artistic Wire Gizmo jig is in stock at most Hobby Lobby stores and there is a weekly coupon you can print off or put on your phone for 40% off one item. The Gizmo sells for $11.99 so it makes it a no brainer for me. It will be in the jewelry making section. I am going out this week to pick one up. If it does not work I am out under $10. I blow that on one bottle of juice if I find I do not like the flavor.

Walking into the store for the item may be a bit of a challenge for some manly men. The place is usually overrun with crafty type women and lots of frillys. No worse than picking up some unmentionables for the wife.

I've taken to my Kayfun clone and am ready to invest a little more in it (now that I've decided it's worthwhile). Thanks you all for the help you've provided. Should I grab the coil jig that Idaholandho mentioned -- and if so where is it for sale? Or this number from Sharir's sig? Artistic Wire's Coiling Gizmo Deluxe Econo Winder - Lima Beads Also, I've seen mention of sterilized cotten at CVS. Can anyone provide a link showing what I'm after. Also, big big thanks to New Kid for having sent me the coil and starter bundle of cotton.

As long as you like a 1.5mm (little less than 1/16th") diameter coil it's perfect. The 1.5mm is the second smallest one. The smallest is 1mm and may be used for nano coils on a cotton bed. The three larger ones are too big for coils.

1.5mm is small, a touch smaller than I'm used to. The nail I was using was probably around 1.7mm. The smaller diameter can dry up quicker with lower ohm builds, but so far with a 1 ohm 28ga micro it's working good, I just need to adjust a little.

That seems to be the bane of vaping for people not in large cities where the newest and best are commonplace. I find it can be very difficult to judge an item from a picture on a website, even when detailed photos and dimensions are provided. Case in point: my Provari Mini. It looked humongous to me, until I had it in my hand. And evod/protank heads and the Igo-L. Hard to judge from pictures.

Seeing in persons, holding, that makes all the difference. What it looks like and what it is can be two different things. Looking cool and being cool are two very different things.

I discovered this new wood bottom-feeder made by ecf member pdib called the oliveR. It's just beautiful, and brilliant design. It is also expensive, and a long waiting list. Available in custom wood designs. I saved this picture because I like green.

Pete just finished run one and is now on to run two. I'm in on run three... a maple burl will be coming my way in about a month. Can't wait as the reviews have been excellent from some of the heavy hitters around ECF.

I found one on Amazon where I have free shipping and placed an order. Also grabbed a ton of wire and sterilized cotton. Thank you all! And crafts stores can be fun. I used to love visiting them for airbrush and model rocket supplies, for raw canvas, etc.

I was hoping that hubby could find some type of wire thing that has the right diameter to bend and use instead of the ones provided, if I find the size does not work properly. Am I dreaming? Or is this an easy switch to make. Told you all I am very untechnical and not real imaginative.

Any ideas on what material could be used. I have not seen a wire dress hanger in years so I do not think I will find one of those. I know I sound like I am making much ado about nothing, but I think the ability to wind the coil like winding a musical jewelry box is something I could do.

I did call a couple of other CVS stores for that perfect rolled cotton. There is one about 20 miles from me that has it in stock so a win there.

Shari, I just use drill bits. 5/64" and 3/32".
