Ahlusion E-juice

I thought it was very different than gambit, personally. I had a hard time identifying apple in this one. I personally tasted mostly cinnamon. But those are MY tastebuds. Yours could be totally different. (and probably are) Anything is worth a shot. Gambit was a pretty fair balance between the fruit, crust, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. I even tried mixing ATT with a vanilla ice cream flavor I have and it was still very different. ATT is a nice enough liquid, but just like gambit it is not. Just my humble opinion.

Thanks for the input! I like Gambit but sometimes it can be a bit too sweet for me and this is the only juice I've found to have that effect on me so far. I hope I get more apple from it than you do though because I've got cinnamon juice and I'm not looking for a juice I can't get the fruit from. Time will tell.

If ATT is like many of the fruit vapes I've got from Ahlusion, the fruit comes forward quite a bit after 2-3 weeks. The Apple Wild Wood I have had just a hint of apple when I got it (which I actually really liked). Now the apple is about even with the tobacco. Caramel Pear Black Tea also had a very big change of the fruit saying what it has to say only after some age.

I'd really like to try some of Ahlusion's juices but can you only get the 5mL in the xpress line?? Unfortunately only one juice I want to try is available in express, the other five are not. But fifty dollars is just too much for me to sample 6 juices.

Do they maybe have a sampler pack I'm missing?

(Their 30mL prices are only slightly high but the 10mL prices are ridiculous. I don't have a problem paying for bigger bottles of juice I know I like but I have to try them first and I'm not going to pay through the nose just to sample. Twenty to twenty-five dollars to sample half-a-dozen juices seems reasonable.)

Edit: I talk too much . Better responses to follow.

Nope, no sampler options. One thing that helps is the free 10ml bottle with a $20 order, so you can get 4 10ml for $27. 40ml for $27 isn't too bad. Then a couple weeks after you get your order you get a 15% off coupon, so $22.95 for 4 10ml bottles.

Thank you for taking the time to respond.

I guess I'll hold off. I just wanted to try them because of all the good things I've heard but not enough to spend $27 (plus shipping?) for only four juices.

You're welcome. Yep, Ahl can be out of peoples prefered budget for juice spending, especially for trying multiple flavors. They'll be around if you change your mind. Maybe at a later time the Xpress line will have a bunch more options available.

I found most time you can only get 1 or 2 of the three Good, Fast, Cheap
With ahlusion 40 ml's for $27 on first purchase is not terrible
with coupons and bigger bottles later on pricing is not bad at all for good liquid

I've found most that are much less to be cheep and chemical tasting most times but
some people love it there's a huge thread on MBV

So just depends what you want out of it

Very true...and it's very good and cheaper than my B&M! For nothing flavors! So yeah, I love my Ahlusion, I did EC Blend, etc. I keep coming back to mostly the same companies.

I got my coupon in today! Woohoo! Ordering next week, I think!! Can't wait! I never order more than 5 bottles but I have some I really want...Torn!

Yeah, tart is something I don't find appealing in juices either! I've been looking at the jump n jive. and i DID just get my coupon in my email lol. i have some arriving on saturday, so after that I'm sure i'll put in another order. I can't help it, i like fruity flavors

Me, too. Funny thing is I hated vaping fruit flavors until I found Ahlusion. I spent a fortune on samples from so many companies and the only thing I vaped was 555, Cotton Candy, and Coffees. Now all I vape is fruits, citrus, and black teas! I could never explain how happy I was when I got my first order from Ahlusion.

Another girl gamer, HOORAY! Sometimes it seems like there are so few of us. The original Everquest was my intro to MMO's, I miss my little necromancer so much. Then on to WoW from release through Cataclysm and then I just couldn't tolerate it anymore. On to Star Wars: The Old Republic, The Secret World, a very quick foray in Tera, back to SWTOR and now Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn which I'm loving. Try FFXIV:ARR, you may like it as well!

I started with Everquest II and then Wow. Before that it was single player RPGs for years. I started with King's Quest I in 4 colors! LOL. I can remember spending 2 days working on the .bat file to be able to get a new game running. My husband just started playing Wow again and I signed on with a 7 day free trial. Will have to see if I can get into it again. I haven't gamed much for over a year.

I'll have to take a look at FFXIV:ARR. Thanks :)

NO, you didn't ramble at all. Great post and I'm really inspired now. It sounds like overall, a mech would provide me a better vaping experience due to the lower ohms and fast heating of the liquid. With my protank/zmini, I'm drawing for a good 5 seconds before I have enough hit to satisfy me. So it would be awesome to have like, instant lung fill.

Man I really want to do this now. Suggestions for a first mech setup anyone? Under $100 please.

I love my K100s. I have more than a dozen of them. Fasttech has them in so many colors plus they run $18-$23 and are easy to use. I have a bunch of other clones but the K100 is my favorite. I've never had a problem with any of the threads or buttons like I have with my other clones. I need to get some wire and give this a try, too.

Also, on my last order I got the Black Peach Tea. How long would people recommend allowing it to steep? It's been steeping about 3 weeks now. I haven't tried it yet because when I open it up it has this strange chemical smell to it. I know smell doesn't always equal vape flavor but that smell just kind of puts me off of trying it.

I would've been vaping it out of the mailbox so give it a try! I think it is at its best after 2 weeks. I've found that nothing smells as good as it tastes so I quit smelling them.

FYI- they have some RPG games that are light fun on Nintendo DS and 3 DS, Mario and Luigi, not sure of names, but I really have enjoyed playing them!

I have a FF game in storage, will have to see which one. I really love Dragon's Age 2, looking forward to Dragons's Age 3, really, that game is the best rpg game I have played on my x-box!

Another question on shipping.

I received 2 emails yesterday, first one was that my order is being prepared, second one that my order is ready to ship. Yet still hasn't been mailed. In the past, all orders I have placed were pretty much mailed within an hour after my second email. Has this happened to anyone yet?

Yes. My last order I got those mails. The next day it shipped :) on a previous order it was almost right away. Assume the delay is due to multiple shipments going out. I haven't found the wait to be that long. No month long wait here ;)

I'm curious what is about average days after an order is placed where you start getting these emails from them? I placed an order and got an email Tues stating "you will receive several notices to keep you updated..Once the order is accepted it goes through prep/mix stage...." And I haven't heard another word from them since.

I cant wait to try Ahlusion but not in any huge hurry. I'd rather them take their time and mix some great juices and realize it was only two days ago I got that email, but curious as to how long it normally takes to start getting these emails re: the next stage of the order process?

Damn......... I really need to try this Gambit one of these days.

ATT from Ahl doesn't really have my interest much, not really into cinnamon in vapes. If I tried it, I'd request to go light on the cinn.

Tarte Tatin has a light dusting of baker's cinnamon. It's not apple pie. It's a tart made with carmelized apples -- cooked in butter and sugar. And the juice tastes just like that dessert.

You will likely get the remaining emails withing minutes of each other. How many bottles did you order?

I spent three hours at Ahlusion, dripping samples until I dropped to my knees screaming from nic OD. Well, not really, but one more atty might have done it. I can report that the bottle Wlad currently carries in his pocket for quick dripping access is Caramel Wild Wood (previous occupants have been Sahara and Lemon Cream), and that their store in North Carolina is almost ready to open. Also, it was refreshing to see him relax a little while Ally supervised the techs in the lab. The man works endlessly; I'm happy to see him let go of some things and breathe.

Not to worry on the quality. I have probably ordered somewhere close to a hundred bottles of varying sizes from them and only had two mishaps. After intensive worry and thorough investigation, I discovered that I made the error not them. I had ordered the wrong mix of 100% VG. I now use wish lists to help prevent this.
And like Mr. (The) Mann, Iowa Gal and others said, the e-mail notification after the preparation stage (between processing, packaging and shipping) usually come in rapid fire succession. Then you get to track using the tracking tool and countdown to arrival day.

Don't forget to steep. And just a warning, if you open them and spend more than a second or two smelling them it will be VERY difficult to resist trying them. But...
Resist if you can. The juice is very fresh on arrival and needs that steep to reach its fullest flavor.
Congrats on your 60 days. Hope you like them as much as some of us do.

What?! Wlad took a breath? Not a breather, but a breath?

You gave me more information in a manner that I can easily understand in this post than a week of reading various posts in the different representative sub-forums. Thank you. I now have a little better understanding of the general differences in vv/vw, mech mods, and micro coils in one clear post.

I love my mech mods, they satisfy my tinkering urges. Girls can tinker too! Growing up I was the only grandchild around and my grandfather and I used to take apart old clocks so I could see how they worked. As a nurse now I guess I "tinker" with sick people fixing their inner workings.

I started off with a VV/VW device (eVic) but it always felt cheap to me. I moved on to a Provari which is still one of my everyday devices but there is something beautiful in the simplicity of a mech mod. My Provari will only fire down to like 0.8 ohms so if you build a coil that is below that all you get is an error message. Lower ohms do drain battery life much more rapidly but they heat up almost instantaneously and depending on the coil/wick combination is can be one of the best vapes you've ever had.

While a pure mech mod the flavor does change as the battery drains its charge. However I use a Kick in all my mechs which gives me a consistent vape all the way through the battery's life. VV devices require you to adjust the voltage setting if you switch atomizers because they may have different resistances. A VW device like the Kick will maintain the same setting no matter the resistance of the atomizer. If I set it to say 8 watts it will keep firing at 8 watts no matter if the resistance is 1.8 ohms or 2.8 ohms.

I'm just getting into micro coils but so far they have been wonderful and will seemingly last for months. I also find them much easier to wrap than say a 3/4 wrap on stainless mesh. I use a 1/16" drill bit to wrap the Kanthal around (28 or 30 gauge), pop it into my Kayfun Lite, light up the coils nice and hot and squeeze the coil together with a pair of tweezers a couple times to make it maintain its shape. If I want to change flavors all I have to do is replace the cotton wick and not worry about wrapping another coil. The Kayfun Lite (and its clone the Russian 91%) have given me a totally different, and quite wonderful, vaping experience.

I will say the only thing I don't like about a mech mod is that sometimes the brass contacts will tarnish and make firing difficult but that is taken care of with a little ultrafine grit sandpaper.

(sorry if I've rambled a bit, just got off work and it's bedtime).
