Take the Vanilla Wild Wood, leave the Vecchio.

LOL, EleanorR. I too (begrudgingly, so, lol) prefer the Vanilla Wild Wood to Vecchio Blend. I drink beer from a bottle.

I didn't recommend that because I know chanelvaps is not into tobacco vapes. Even though I love the Wild Woods, I think it could come across as a bit much for a vaper that usually doesn't dig the tobaccos. I think the smoky part can throw some off.

I didn't let it steep at all. Just popped it in. I've never had to steep anything before, it's always been good FOB. lol. So you are saying, let this bad boy sit in the back of my fridge for a month and give it another shot?

90PG/10VG

Like Ms. E said let it steep some. Don't forget to shake it some too. The bigger the bottle, the more shaking. I'd shake it a little and set it down for at least 4-5 days before trying it again. It does get nice at about two weeks and really good later.

For me, the magic A+ steep method is to open them on arrival and let them breath for a moment. Then recap them (tightly) and shake them vigorously for a minute or two. I usually start tasting about a week in.

Agree with Jerms and some of the others. Don't need the fridge as it will slow the steep. While some A+ juice is good FOB, most of it takes some steeping to hit their sweet spot.

Point taken. :D I just couldn't resist the Godfather allusion (see what I did there? :D:D)

Oh, and I don't drink beer at all -- it ruins the taste of champagne for me!

Ahlusion is the master of e liquid. I order 60ml bottles like its my job. Everything is great so I just order giant bottles. Coco Berry Cream is my #1 go to liquid. Just order Shamrock Shake which is good on delivery. Cant wait to let that steep for a week and Melon Berry Frost is my #2 favorite. W&A Sasparilla is good too if you like that sort of thing. Coco Berry Cream, Melon Berry Frost, Orange Creamsicle are my 3 go to flavors. Blueberry Colada is getting there and I really recommend Frijan Nights, it has this island banana feel to it. It is really good. Havent ordered that one in a while. I better go place an order for my 60 ml bottle of it. I also love that they give you big samples. I order a lot and they sent me some extra bottles on my last order. Cant wait to try them all.

Jump N Jive? Is that new?

If you do a search for any particular flavor or flavors on Ahlusion's website the search result will show the date of introduction. Jump 'N Jive was introduced April 30, 2013. It's a refreshing, clean lime/cherry that would be an ideal summertime vape. However, I like the acidic edge of citrus flavors balanced with cream so I prefer my Lime Cream/Contrary Cherry frankenjuice.

Marietta is a nice town. Lots of southern charm. Atlanta can be fun, if you can do it without either rain or humidity.
I moved to Dallas GA from So CAl so you can imagine the culture shock.

I lived in Marietta for 14 years. Believe it or not Columbus summers are worse. I knew I was in trouble when I found out it was considered tropical.

So, I have some Vecchio steeping right now that I'm waiting to try!

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note II using Tapatalk.

Grew up in Alpharetta/Forsyth my HS had 610 graduating my senior year. Left for the Marine Corps and College at 17. When I came back home on leave, there was a billion people in my home town.
I do not miss 285/75/85. I do miss Buckhead and understand 5 points is now the pinnacle of culture. Loved the Big Chicken.
Just couldn't deal with the influx of people. The USMC made me a bit claustrophobic in a sense that the less people the better.

I took inventory last night of my juice drawers and realized that I won't need to order any more Ahlusion for at least 3 months. :?: Kind of sad, really. :D

Most stay fine well over a year, so I wouldn't put it in the fridge unless I wanted it to last several years.

I am glad Jerms stated this since my Ahl Stash is getting close to a Year with the vapemail received yesterday.

Feedback Coupons get me every time.

Reporting on my further adventures in non-ahl fruits vapes..

FaceeJuice Mellow Mango and Mcintosh Magic (apple). Very light, dull, uninspired flavors. At least they don't taste like candy and aren't too sweet. The mango shows more promise than the apple. Maybe will work better in a different device. No off notes, just very dull.

NudeNicotine Mango Creme. Very flavorful, realistic mango flavor with a side of light cream. Very different than Ahl's Mango Lassi. With Ahl's lassis and creams they focus on modifying the fruit to make it a creamy (or in the case of lassi, yogurty). This way approximates the taste of the fruit as in a drink or creamy dessert. NN's Mango Creme keeps them seperate, the Mango is the main flavor and tastes like fresh fruit, the cream is seperate but acts to temper the mango. I really like it, but it's a different style from Ahl so I don't feel inclined to recommend it to the Ahlusionati.

MistyVapor WiMellow is kiwi and marshmellow. Not quite an exceptional juice to me, but it's flavorful and mixed well. Not too sweet and no off flavors. It's quite tasty, I like it, but don't have a strong urge to recommend it here like I did with the Strawberry from PV. Luce from the tobacco thread really loved this juice and he's almost purely a tobacco vaper.

Careful.. after a year some funky things can happen to Ahl juices since they use many natural ingredients. Not sure if anyone here has had any Ahl around long enough to go bad though lol.

Ok, in my new apartment in the California east Bay Area and damn are there a lot of vape shops out here! In the course of driving 2500ish miles in four days all I used were my Kayfun's. From just above sea level in Ohio to the mile high city of Denver/northern Nevada mountains back down to sea level and not a single bit of leaking/flooding/gurgling. Of course driving makes the elevation changes much more gradual than something like flying.

I was using a KFL+, KFL+ v2 and a Russian 91% on my Provari (in 18650 mode since I list my 490 cap in my accident) and my Electric Angel mech with an 18650. Since I was driving for days I tried to have 3 different moods of juices in my tanks. Something for the morning like a coffee, something fruity for the day and something sweet should the mood hit me. I normally only vape around 3-4ml's per day, maybe 6ml's when driving like this, with 3 tanks I didn't have to refill much. However I did find myself in a bit of a juice funk somewhat like SharonMM several weeks back. I just got bored with what I had.

I managed to find a nice vape shop just outside St. Louis as it was just down the street from the hotel I stayed in. I really wanted to visit one of the you-know-what shops in Denver but I was good and kept driving. I swung by one of the ElectroNicStix stores in Salt Lake City (one of only 2 companies selling the ZNA) to pick up a gunmetal 18490 tube for my ZNA (whenever it gets mailed to me from home) and a couple juices. I'm enjoying G2 Vapors "Vazilla" from their Prime line, it's a vanilla butterscotch. Although the G2 "Purple Nurple" is a good grape candy it's hard to vape much at a time.

I swung by a local vape shop yesterday and it was nice to see them actually talk me out of buying something. I've never been much of a dripper but I figured "when in Rome..." and wanted something along the lines of a Cali style nuclear cloud blowing RDA with variable air flow. Just to play around with. One of the guys at the store told me to hold off because they didn't have anything to satisfy that desire. They even let me try their testers of the new Five Pawns line even though they don't have any to sell yet. I haven't used a clearo in a while and ended up spilling one of the 5P samples  The salesman even recommended some vape shops he frequents in SF, San Jose and Hayward.

I bought a few bottles of juice, one that tastes like a Girl Scouts Samoa cookie, Provari flush fit ring & 18490 cap and some other odds and ends. It was really cool to actually see some mods that I've only seen online being sold in a shop. Chi You, UVO's, King mods and Pinoy stuff I've never heard of. They even had the quartz glass upgrades for the Kayfun. At the local store they were either vaping drippers or Kayfuns.

I will say though that at each vape shop I stopped by I played Ahlusion "you gotta try these guys" ambassador. Have to give some love to Ahlusion wherever I go and spread the good word:p

So glad you got to where you're going safe and sound.
And probably wise passing by the you know what store -- I imagine an army of troopers on the other side of the state line just itching to pull over every car that crosses.

Thank you for the caution and I do monitor my Stash closely with a spreadsheet.

Quoted EleanorR previously since I also need to slow down for awhile as I rip through the present Stash.

Dripping some of my smooth criminal sample this evening. I'll have to go with the website's description to a T..mildly sweet and mellow. It has a lighter taste than my go-to tobacco vapes (HHV). I do like it, and will have no problems using up this 10ml. It's a little over 2 weeks steeped; is this one that you all recommend a long steep?

Yep, that's the one. It's stays a dessert tobacco for at least a month. After six weeks it starts losing most of the dessert notes and transitions into a straight, lightly sweet tobacco.

So the main difference between the Vecchio and the VWW is that the tobacco is more prominent in the VWW? I agree that there is no discernible tobacco flavor to the Vecchio, but I feel that way about all of the non-aros I've tried - Vecchio, Deal Maker, Smooth Criminal and Gold Rising - except that I get the same TA-ish vibe from Gold Rising that I'm picking up in the Vurly and SGP. I have yet to try any of the House Blends or Wild Woods, though. I would describe the Vecchio as an earthy, dusky vanilla, sort of like vaping a nice Mexican vanilla on a burlap wick ... or so I imagine.

I'm one of the few in this thread who thought Vecchio had almost no tobacco impact. Maybe it's been reformulated, I don't know, because almost everyone else has commented that they taste the tobacco and that it's at a pleasant level for them.

The Wild Woods' tobacco presence is more than Vecchio's -- they have a great balance between flavoring and tobacco after a steep. Vecchio Blend's tobacco also doesn't have that smoky component the Wild Woods have. Sorry, I'm not good at describing various vanillas as I don't care about vanilla vapes enough to differentiate them. It was a good enough vanilla for me to use to add to Vurley at times.

I've not gotten a TA-ish vibe or taste from any of the non-aromatics. Ahlusion doesn't use TA. I've only gotten an ashy taste from Vurley at times, and it was because the coil was gunky and needed some maintenance.

I am so glad that you made it out there and had a good trip. Rough time of the year to travel that route. East Bay is good, not as pretty as the 280 corridor but hey, you have time off to ride the coast and explore.

Your whole post just made me feel happy for you. I hope you get settled in quickly. Eat some of that great food out there for me. Maybe a crab feast at Fisherman's Wharf? Scoma's is not worth it though. There used to be a couple of good hole in the wall places on the wharf that sold fish on the sidewalk and had a diner type restaurant. Cheaper and food is better. Take care.

I think I remember Mr.Mann commenting some time back about a bottle of Caramel Pear Black Tea being well past its prime at around 1 year 4 months. I think it took a trip down the drain if I remember correctly. The Smooth Criminal was still fabulous, I think.

As you guys know I am slow to change and try new things. I finally got a good cotton ball wick on the Igo-L Akdare was so generous to send me. It took me about 3 times, each one using less cotton. I still do not have it right yet because my Caramel Pear Black Tea is not giving me that hint of sweetness I was getting before. Any hints? I am not squishing tight or twisting up the cotton and I am using a piece almost an inch long but fairly thin. It is not bound up in the coil and threads through smoothly. Coil is 30ga 2.2 ohm, I think 7 or 8 wraps that Akdare built for me (perfectly, by the way).

What would cause the loss of sweetness? I did taste a difference the first several minutes of vaping it but I attribute that to the cotton. It is acceptable but not outstanding. So, use more or less cotton, you think?

I need to order some more CPBT. The Igo-L is having me use more liquid than dripping on a 510 atty.
