My black Friday order is also in the packaging area. I got that email Monday, I think. I haven't checked this evening, don't know if that's been changed. I know it will get here and I have plenty to use until it does.

Got my new Provari on Monday. How does anyone use the vivi novas on this? Every time I try to vape above 3.9, I get very burnt taste. Checking the ohms, it says they are 2.8 (even tho they are labeled 2.4). According to the watt charts floating around, looks like I should be able to go higher?

I have a few vivis like that. Most are around the ohms they say they are and vape normally at normal voltages. But I have a couple with "2.8 ohm" heads that read at 3 ohms. Can't vape them past 4.1 without burning. With other 3 ohms I have been able to go up to 5 volts with no problems. I am just as confused as you are on this lol.

I don't have a white one but because I had the same experience as you with the white eGo, I would be leery to get the white ProVari - I can see why you'd want white, with all those cool Braniele tips you have!! lol

LOL! Purple is pretty high on my list too....been trying to decide between the 2 for months now! But the white would go with all 5 of my "Braniele" tips...whereas the purple would only go with the one I ordered yesterday. Dilemma I tell ya!

Get a white Provari with a Serenity leather sleeve in purple... Problem solved! ;)

Well I didn't even know those existed! That may have helped the Provari purchase happen much sooner than later!

That initial investment is just so steep compared to the devices I have been used to buying so far....and since I don't have any devices that use batteries like that, I have to get a couple batteries, the charger, I want the Blue LED....etc, so if I remember correctly, the last time I priced it all out with those options it was around 300, maybe more. When coming from buying $19 egos for almost the last year...it just seems like so much, but I know it will be worth it. It must be, or everyone wouldn't rave about them so much

I'm in the exact same boat. I've been using twists up until now (my Provari should be here tomorrow) so I also didn't have batteries, etc and had to go in for the whole set up. Once I found out about the serenity sleeves I ended up getting the silver Provari knowing I'd want to protect it anyway and could get a sleeve in any color(s) I wanted. I got the blue led, extension cap, two batts, and charger for $227 (after my $11 Black Friday discount). The sleeve was $35. If you end up getting a colored Provari you really do start to push $275, but in my case I don't have the luxury of collecting lots of beautiful mods so I'm going in hoping this one stands the test of time (and now I'm particularly hoping my screws stand the test of time). It is a big decision and a lot of money for some of us, so I understand wanting to take your time figuring out exactly what you want. My sleeve gets here Sat so I'll report back on that in case you might want one :)

Well, Bummer. I didn't have the issue on the twists. On the hunt for something else I guess ;)

On a much better note, I finally tried my BVC and it is very good. It won't be an all day vape as it is very sweet, to me. It does go very well with the morning coffee!

I don't really do an all day vape anyway. I like changing it up.

The vivi tank was just a test, I've pretty much given up on tanks. Like you, I like variety. I rarely drip more than 5 or 6 drops of anything, then change. In fact, except for the 2 days I spent sucking down Sasparilla, I can't remember a roll with a single flavor like that. I don't think it EVER happened. I have been leaning on the Blue Fairy quite a bit the past couple days though. I don't know if it is because it is just that good, or I can't believe I've finally found an anise flavoring that I actually LIKE.

Those Nova coils aren't the best are they?. Sometimes a coil or two will be lifted off the wick ever so slightly and all you get is burnt taste no matter what. You can cut a small piece of wick, just the length of the coil well, and rest it over the top of the coils. This will ensure the coils are always covered and saturated. You may need to cut notches in the silicone grommet to prevent choking. I hear this works well for chronic burnt Nova issues.

Can't wait to see that new Provari, Wonderland! I think that'll get you by for a good long while (assuming the screws hold out of course :p)!

Thanks Mister! If my screws don't hold out I'll be running to you and Marc to fix it for me :) It should keep me happy for quite a while unless I catch your addiction (which I may have already: took a nap this afternoon with my daughter and I actually dreamt of buying vaping stuff! Lord! Looks like I may have to find you a new interventionist.)!

They're actually amazing devices at their price point. Unfortunately, consistency and quality control seem to be the compromise that is required to achieve those fabulous prices.

Let me know if you have need for one. Being out of town with a broken Provari is not compatible with my OCD nature. I'm sure I'll have it repaired at a jeweler once I reach my destination tomorrow, and come home to the spare later. As usual, I battled for the principle. It'll be my undoing.

Tez, have i told you lately, that I think your posts are almost always awesome. Scratch that, they ARE always awesome.

Gee, thanks Moueix! I'm just fine with "almost always"... I've definitely had a few not-so-awesome posts here and there! I always get a kick out of yours too, whether it's an informative kick or a humorous kick.

You know, I must be totally lucky when it comes to Vivis (knock on wood). I have probably 12 or 13 of them laying around, and I haven't really experienced any of the problems that people post about. I only use the 1.8 ohm coils, though, and I think they wick better than the other two (thinner wicking material).

If you start going mod crazy, I'm done for! There has to be a voice of reason somewhere!

It's funny -- I was thinking about what you and Daniele posted about taking that leap from eGo batteries up to big-battery mods. I was strictly eGo as of last July. I've really gone off the deep end, but I partially blame Ahlusion... Now that I don't have to search high and low, wasting time and money trying out new juice vendors with mixed results, it's really freed me up to go after mods, and Ahlusion's juices are just so good that I'm always trying to find the best way to vape them these days!

I tried Smooth Criminal and House Blend tonight. Wlad was right. House Blend is perfect for me. How does he know these things? I like Smooth Criminal and find it very vapable but House Blend is smoother and I really enjoy it.

I tasted mine and they're not ready yet. Glad they work for you.

On the other hand, I did try my Bolo de Banana. This flavor can best be described thus:

:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

All over the place
LOL - I was in weapons and defense training ALL DAY today and was really missing my vape. So I went into the bathroom so I could have me some and blew plumes of smoke. Then I looked up and saw the fire alarm and thought "Oh crap" - can you imagine if the vapor set off the fire alarm and the entire 19 story Court house had to be evacuated?? Didn't want to take the slim chance that it could happen (someone told me that apparently some smoke alarms are set off by the "movement" of smoke - don't know if that's true??) - so I quickly stopped and went back into training :(

Think airplane "smoke" detectors.

Whoa. Sounds like you switch it up a lot. I'm not that much, just a few different each day. Maybe though because I'm only using the nova.

I'm excited to try the Sasparilla. I was able to get a sample in my order. It should be shipping soon.

Thanks. I will try these tips. Maybe I should try to make my own.
