I loved reading about all the flavors people have tried. I, too, love Ahlusion and have loved everything I have tried from them. I order from them once a week to every other week, depending how much I spent on the last order! I always include one bottle of something I loved from the previous order, then add to it! I only do 10mL because I want to try them all! However, it seems that is going to be impossible because every time I knock a few off of my "To Try" list they add more! And now fall blends coming out?! How can one keep up? Guess I should go make my order for the week so I am ready for the new fall ones in case they show up within the next week or so!

Anyone that is a coffee fan tried the new Kona?? It is on my list but I have yet to order it, just was curious on some thoughts on it as I LOVE Kona coffee!!

Meant to also say new kid, I LOVED your review of your "horrible" experience! :)

Hey Spicy,

I happen to love Ahlusion, but part of why I love Ahlusion is their even-handed approach to flavors -- I don't think your experience of depth of flavor (or lack thereof) will be vastly different from bottle to bottle. However, it is totally up to you if you want to give it another go. One possibility is for you to email Wlad and tell him exactly what you did not like about his juice and what it would take ((very specifically)) for that juice to have been better suited for your specific tastes. He will work with you to try and get your juices up to your liking, but I still don't know if it will be what you're looking for.

I am inclined to agree - for example - I know a lot of people love "pinkspot" - but it did not taste quite "right" for me.... I am sure it is a fabulous company and it has quite a following. I tried top flavors - but alas, wasnt up my alley :(

ATTENTION ALL LOVERS OF AHLUSION:

How many of you have actually communicated with Wlad and Alley about what you would like to see different in your juices? I want to know how it turned out afterwards. The only thing is, I don't know of what most of us would say is wrong. However, I want to remind you all that the email that comes to you afterwards is not just about feedback, there is a 15% coupon code good for 10 days upon receipt of the message.

p.s. I am happy to have seen new kids post because the time I had talked to Wlad about the new codes being put on the labels, they hadn't yet been implemented. Wlad said they were working on it and I think it is awesome to know that is has happened. Isn't this "smart" feature of their system the most unique feature (just about) of any other liquid vendor?

I have no affiliation with Ahlusion outside of loving their products. I realized lately that it may appear as if I work for them. (I could only be so lucky! ;))

TICK TOCK!!

My first order has arrived. Blueberry Colada (Sample), Tiramisu, Caramel Pear Black Tea, and Orange Nocturne.
I'm pretty pumped about all of them for different reasons. The blueberry colada will be both my first blueberry vape which I've been dying to try, and my first Coconut vape, ditto. So two in one. Tiramisu? Are ya kidding?!? Who doesn't LOVE a good rum soaked Tiramisu?! The Caramel Pear Black Tea has gotten rave reviews, and I've LOVED every Tea I tried from AIV, so this should be a slam dunk.

But the one that REALLY has me salivating in anticipation is the Orange Nocturne. I'm a HUGE fan of the darkest, bitterest chocolate. 90% Cocoa isn't too much for me, not even close. Dark chocolate with orange? That's my fav combination of dark chocolate mixed with anything. Reviews I've seen have been negative. Describing the chocolate as "bitter" and the orange like "rind". DUH! THAT IS THE WAY DARK CHOCOLATE AND ORANGE IS SUPPOSED TO BE! Am I the only German one around here?!

But, as I do have an ample amount of juice presently, I have done the correct and prudent thing, and shook the hell outta them, and put them, caps off, on the wall. This is the first time I've had the luxury of actually steeping a juice before trying it. Is it killin me? Hell yeah. The old lady cut me off a couple months before the wedding too, and let me tell you... So good things come to those who wait. I can't wait... but I will.

I posted an article (or an email, I can't remember) in this thread about it. Ahlusion has some type a system of customization for customers based on their feedback and once Ahlusion receives that feedback, they tailor juices for that particular customers desires. Well, the new "code" system was implemented because of how so many of us share liquids with each other. If you were to receive a juice from me that had been tailored to my needs, you would receive a slightly different juice if you ordered it simply by the name of that juice. The code is on the bottles so that if you in fact fall in love with a juice, you can just enter that code and the juice will come exactly how it was made for that specific bottle. If for some reason the bottle you receive didn't have the code (maybe someone gave you a sample in a smaller bottle) all you would have to do is get that code from the person that sent it to you, or get their last name and the your juice can be tailored the exact same way.

FAQs - About Our Liquids
This is a fairly common question we receive: "Why does my e-liquid [I purchased directly from Ahlusion] taste different from the sample I received from a friend?"

The reason is simple, but not quite understood as this is unique to Ahlusion, so I'll explain it as best as possible here. Every customer who has provided specific feedback in regards to their e-liquids, has a unique flavor profile. This consists of a bunch of numbers and algorightms that make up the flavor profile used by our mixing software. Say for instance that customer A's flavor profile inducates that she likes sour or bitter flavors, then all recipes for that customer will be modified accordingly. I mention recipes because by using flavor profiles, every customer essentially has his or her own recipes. This is the very simplified way of explaining this, but there's a lot more involved in the backend.

This is one reason to never expect the exact same flavors from an e-liquid received as a sample. To date we have over 700 unique flavor profiles and not one is identical to the other.

This is one reason why we send feedback requests after every order; it is to determine YOUR flavor profile and to make e-liquids the way YOU want it. It's the Ahlusion difference!"

A lot of people that I know have milk chocolate in their mind as chocolate, so when I let them try my high percentage cacao bars, they are repelled. I think this is one of the reasons also why some may not like Ahlsuion's teas, for they are exactly like the real thing, not like a canned tea. Canned tea? hahahahaha

Congrats on the upcoming wedding! I DO hear you re: the chocolate and orange. One of the banes of my life is finding a really decent marmalade! I think Paddington Bear would go into a diabetic shock sugar coma with the excuses for marmalade I've come across. Where'd the sevilles go? I hope you enjoy all the juices you purchased!

Not sure if I got his from one of Wlad's emails, from the website or a post on here but the juices will probably change color in a few days. Most should get a little darker or richer looking. That means they are about ready. Make sure you have enough volts/watts/ohms or whatever to get the full flavor. Ahlusions juices typically do better dripping or at higher power levels (LR gear). Lot of this depends on the specific juice you have, the specific recipe and the device. It will taste a little different in every device you try them in.
Even small changes in volts/watts/ohms can make a difference.

(please forgive the newb- first attempt at anything remotely considered advice. Beyond gear advice to other newbs that is)
If you have any questions about the juice and your gear, Wlad can help. Not exactly sure when he sleeps though.

That is very sweet! And thank you! Twenty years late perhaps, but THANK you. Oh, I do remember that night though... I'm hoping the Orange Nocturne is JUST like that.. Oh yes, and I hear you about Marmalade. I'm not a fan (It's missing the chocolate) but I know REAL marmalade when I taste it, and it isn't jam. While I'm not a big fan, I prefer them NOT sweet. I did ask for a little sweetener for all the vapes, because I do prefer a little sweetener in the vapes I've tried, but if it is good, I might try it without too, just to see. Baby steps.

I did tell Wlad what my setup was. Also, for gourmet juices, I ONLY drip. I have tanks and cartos for the commercial stuff for on the road, but for the good stuff I enjoy the process, and taste, of dripping.

Thanks Mr. Mann. I have decades of experience reading into wine reviews. When a reviewer wrinkles his literary nose in describing a french wine has having "barnyard" or "sauvage" properties, I get on the phone and order that wine. I love me a little funk in my French reds, even if most others find it off putting. So when I see chocolate described as "bitter", I usually get it that the writer prefers his milky way bars.

Mr. Mann, to answer a question you had from another post, yes. I have had some communication with Wlad. He is very helpful. Spicy may have the same issue I had with a couple of the juices I got from them. I ordered too much PG. Heard all PG/heavy PG was the greatest. Maybe not in a 650mah/T2 regular resistance world. Was having some issues with flooding. Wlad suggested more power or lower resisitance. I don't have more power but do have lower resisitance. Popped the LR head in my Vivi and loaded it up. Bingo!
Issue gone.
By the way, I continue to be impressed with him and the operation he and Alley are building.
Currently vaping 50/50 Sleighride in my original EGO C Cart/Tanks and it is awesome. Finally found some mint that is not menthol and doesn't taste like cough syrup. Finally a non tobacco flavor I can vape more than 5 minutes.

This is quite an interesting concept. Makes me wonder if I placed a future order if it would be altered so I didn't taste all rubber and plastic. Though I wish they'd have just left that out the first time around.

DI, the non-aromatic tobaccos take along time to steep and I do understand what you are talking about, but it has gone now. I promise you, the only tobaccos (IMO) that should really even be considered are their aromatics (though I do dig SC, HB and Vecchio). I understand the process of steeping is kinda goofy, but like some of BWB's juices, some juices really need awhile to gel. Their Premium aromatic tobaccos are the lick and are fine after a day or so. The River Tree tobaccos Wlad told me to stay away from -- those are pretty much made for a certain group of people that buy from Ahlusion, not necessarily for the average customer -- though anyone can try.
