I can't believe I did it...but I just e-mailed Wlad to ask and confirm that I am not crazy LOL!
I'm still behind in the thread and hopefully this has been confirmed but his stating this very thing to me in an email confirms it enough for me!!!!!!

With all of this VMOD talk, I'm going to have to forward Wlad the VMOD 2.0 bottle issues I've had and I've seen others report.
Thanks Tez - I'll wait on my Vmod for now - sounds a bit too complicated! Although I love the idea of a UFS.
From all of my research, yes, only on the smaller 2.0.
I don't have a VMOD, but I do have a beard. I just wanted to participate.![]()
Uh oh! Hope that's not the case for me - I ordered the 2.0. However, I wouldn't think it's a hard thing to get a bottle replacement?
Simply put, an atomizer tank is a tank in which you can put an atomizer. Unfortunately, I only know of one that is still being produced (the Reactor Tank from NHaler), but it's not my thing since it takes proprietary atties. Here's a picture of my new baby:
For me, VW never really had much of an appeal (at least trumping my ProVari). I only use two separate ohm ratings, while one barely gets used (1.5 ohm), or I will spend an entire day with one type of ohm. A VW, while always keeping the wattage consistent, doesn't necessarily mean that any JDS will taste the same because some JDSs will not taste good at certain temps, so that would mean adjusting, which is the same adjusting that a VV would entail. Now if you're someone who has a ton of JDSs with varying ohms ratings, and in turn, use them frequently, then maybe it would be nice. If you are someone who, like me, likes no more than two attys, or more specifically, two types of ohm ratings, then it is not going to provide you with a more consistent vape than a high-end (not like a lavatube) VV.
I am not comparing any one VW and VV device per se, just the effect of VW as opposed to VV. Also, once again, I am only talking high-end VV. One plus (actually, a HUGE plus!) with the Darwin DNA or The Kick, is that you can upgrade many big batt devices to act as a Darwin (though with less range in watts).
VW doesn't hold any appeal to me either. If I just vaped one juice maybe, but I vape a lot of different flavors, so I don't really see the point in VW over VV. I'd be changing the watts all the time just like I change volts now.
I actually have to chime in here and say that once I went VW I can't go back to VV. In fact I even sold my ProVari a couple of weeks ago! Maybe it's because I mostly use Vivi Novas due to their ease and the fact that I don't detect the muted flavor with them that others have mentioned, but not only is resistance not always exactly what it says on the head, all coils change resistance over time with use. So now even though I might have to change the wattage setting when I change juices, I never have to check resistances or wonder why my juice isn't tasting right as the head gets older.
Yeah, another reason I like VW is that with rebuildables, it's tough to be consistent with the ohm ratings of the coils you're wrapping, but VW will nail it every time. Plus, I'm a fan of mechanical mods from an engineering, trouble-shooting, and maintenance standpoint, and the Kick really takes these devices to another level.
I think it's all about what you put on it. My atties never read any differently from my ProVari meter to a meter. However, the few times I tried to work with Ce(#)s,ViVis, Genesi and RBAs, I was adjusting that the ProVari like mad. I guess what I want to ask those that use VWs is do you (n)ever adjust the wattage?
The Darwin has a ton of great features, but aesthetics it does not.

Rebuildables . . . pfffffft.
Tez, I don't even know how to drive a stick/manual transmission.
Household maintenance is limited to changing (non-fluorescent) light bulbs.
Does that tell you anything?![]()
