I've never been able to use any of my vivi nova 2.8ohm heads for some reason...wait, I am lying...I've had one of about 5 work for me. The others have been fine...but nothing but burnt taste with the 2.8s, even down to 3.6volts

See, none of my Vivis have ever worked on my Provari. They don't screw all the way in and there's a millimetre gap between the bottom of the tank and the top of the PV. They always taste burnt no matter what head I use. I never forced the issue because I'd rather ruin a $9 tank than a $185 PV.

F16 tanks work fabulously well, by the way.

I've been rocking the genesis/SS thing lately, and my Vivis have been on the shelf collecting dust due to the various muted tones and funky nuances they have imposed on my juice. I finally got around to rebuilding one of the heads with cotton and wow, what a difference. This is just a piece of a cotton ball I swiped from my girl's cabinet and wrapped with some of the 32ga kanthal that came with the Zen. The whole thing took about ten minutes and I really wasn't expecting success. It is a massive improvement over the silica in the standard head in both flavor and delivery. This one tested at 2.0 ohms and is wicking like crazy. I'm getting a fine re-introduction to my SSC today. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to fiddle around for a few minutes with their Vivi.

Man, I'm so excited to try my other A+ flavors this way that I think I may have peed a little.

You need a 510 to 510 adapter and then they will fit like a dream

Hey Aizen-sama. I have yet to try the two fruity aromatics - they have been unavailable since the first day I visited Ahlusion's site. Don't know of many people who have tried them either. I can tell you that they are in the pipeline so you will be able to try them in the not-too-distant future. So stick around. I'm really looking forward to them myself.

I like your Ginger Orange Oolong notes. Haven't heard much about that one... sounds really tasty. What other teas do you have on the way? I received my first A+ tea, Caramel Pear Black Tea on Monday. I dripped it for a short while, but had to put it away to steep for a few days. It felt a little rough around the edges, but I was able to pick out the tea pretty easily. Even with just that 5 minute test run, I was completely sold on the idea of vaping a tea! Placed another order this week, with a sample request for Berry Shangri-La Tea.

I have Boba Tea with coconut, Chai Latte, and Jade Dew on the way. I love gyokuro so I'm really looking forward to trying the Jade Dew.

Glad to hear that they are working on making more of the Sweet Georgia Peach!

It's funny -- I was thinking about what you and Daniele posted about taking that leap from eGo batteries up to big-battery mods. I was strictly eGo as of last July. I've really gone off the deep end, but I partially blame Ahlusion... Now that I don't have to search high and low, wasting time and money trying out new juice vendors with mixed results, it's really freed me up to go after mods, and Ahlusion's juices are just so good that I'm always trying to find the best way to vape them these days!

Haha, I was just saying to someone this morning about you Tez - "Remember when he was perfectly happy with his eGo equipment and though that I was crazy for my mod addiction?!" I think the student has become the master, or is at least getting closer!

When I finally get a Provari, it will likely be for use at home only as well. When I go out in public, I still use just a regular 510 battery with cartos...I guess I still like the "cig-a-like" styles when I am in public. When I travel, I bring my mini ego batteries...and I just LOVE those little guys. They work just as good as the regular Egos IMO...and they are just so darn cute!! Especially in the cool colors they come in! Vapors-choice.com has all of the various colors....I got mine somewhere else initially, but I noticed Vapors-choice has all of the same colors and for a better price. They have kits, and the batteries alone. But they come in these really bright colors...I have a teal blue one....which I love...especially since I have a perfectly matching drip tip for it! I have an electric purple on the way....they also have hot pink, orange, and this really pretty green. They're also available in black & white. They really are so convenient though....and I can't stress how tiny & adorable! The battery itself is just about the exact same size as a Vivi Nova Mini.

I was looking at those eGo minis but thought maybe they wouldn't be powerful enough - I use the 1100 mAh eGo twist. How would you say it compares?

Yes, both Tez and myself have noticed that the wicks on the 2.8 heads are made of a different material or something. Typically I don't even pay attention to that anymore since all of my devices are variable wattage now so I don't have to, but with those 2.8 heads I noticed. Strange...?

Vivi at 2.8 is weird. I run them at 4.0 volts. It is the only thing JDS I cannot use on my Kick.

I'm not a big fan of the 2.4 or the 2.8 - I just ordered a bunch of 1.8 ohms because they seem to give the tightest draw and best throat hit for me.

Well........I just had my first "experience" with Ahlusion. Other than the ordering and I don't have my juice yet. But, I had an e-mail about my order on hold and pending further action. I read that and thought HUH. lol Turns out they noticed that on one of my juices I had 70 pg 30vg and the others were the other way around. I wanted 70pg/30vg on all of them so I obviously messed up in ordering. I think I was in a hurry so I didn't lose out. =) AND, I would have hated 70vg/30pg

So really? A vendor who first of all actually notices that something is "off" about the order and then takes the time out of what has to be a very busy schedule to contact me and ask if the order is correct. So I would get what I actually wanted.

All I can say is KUDOS to Ahlusion. If their juice is like their service (and I know you all say it is) I will be a very happy customer. I don't expect to like them all as that would seem...........unnatural. lol So no pressure there.

Thank you once again Ahlusion for taking the time. For giving me the chance to reverse my blunder. You certainly did not have to. Without being melodramatic I so greatly appreciate it. More than you know.

Okay, so nothing having to do with Ahlusion, but I have to update my A+ buddies.

Got home from a long day at work to:

1) An amazing little care package from my buddy scarf-ace, including a sample of Boba's Bounty since I've never tried it.
2) An amazing fiancee telling me to open my Provari Mini and not wait until Christmas.

I'm vaping the "it" juice (not bad at all, might pick some up) on the "it" PV (note to self: do not drop on toe).

Going to drip some Boba Tea onto this thing in a few minutes!

Let's see...where to begin...Currently steeping the Blue Fairy for at least 2 weeks..it smells absolutely mind blowing and I want to love this juice, so I am taking no chances. I...will...steep.

Watermelon Jubelance and I are not on a first name basis yet. I tried it this evening aaaaaand..yeah I think I am going to let this one steep. It needs some alone time.

Since the WJ needs a timeout, I am going to let the WipeOut (Watermelon) have some time as well. I am determined to have a Watermelon vape and steeping can be tolerated for at least a little while...erm I think.

Cantal Berry Ice with breeze...not so lucky. It's in the Vmod tonight. I am not quite ready to talk about it yet. We are becoming more acquainted. It's definitely a very interesting juice...yeah, yeah.."Cinna you should steep that"..Gimme a break, I am already steeping 3 of these lovelies. I need one to give attention to. I will get around to letting it steep when I order it again. It's definitely re-order worthy..I just don't quite know what to say about it...yet.

I notice that Ahlusion was up and running a bit ago..nice to see they are kicking strong! I have to behave myself on ordering for a little bit. The kiddies have a long Christmas list, and my next order from Ahlusion will be a Christmas gift for my better half. After the New Year..it's back to those juices that keep catching my eye will be ordered, savored..enjoyed.

And Vecchio Blend lovers, quick question:

How long of a steep is recommended? I'm really digging every single non-aromatic tobacco, and I'm definitely understanding when they hit their sweet spot. VB is a bit of a mystery to me. I vaped it all day today, and I can just tell it is going mature more, but I've had it steeping for quite a while. Thoughts?
