I use atties. Once upon a time, I was all about the Boge carto's...2.0 LR. My beloved better half got me really into the atties. Once I got the Vmod..I was hooked on the Vapage AMG Hybrid (Shifu coil!! Brilliant!) at 1.5 LR. It gave vaping a whole new life for my juices.

As for Eminem...I adore his music, but listen to him strictly with the headphones on. I have all of his music on my Ipod and have quite a few songs that were bought just because he was featured in them (Nicki Minaj and D12 come to mind). My Ipod currently is a very weird menagerie of music..various bellydancing songs, Lorenna McKevitt, Enigma, Marilyn Manson, Florence and the Machine, Backstreet Boys, Jay Z, Evanescence, Rhianna, Beyonce, etc ad nauseum...music is to be diverse and enjoyed in my ears..I have no specific type..I love it all...even some good old fashioned country.

Made a note on the Vmod atties. I'm really interested in trying out a bottom feeder.

We have similar iPods. I love Nicki Minaj's, "Pink Friday". Don't care for a lot of the new stuff she is doing though. Florence and the Machine are really good. Can't do Marilyn Manson. My daughter was really into his music as a teenager.

One of my favorites will always be Van Morrison. Discovered him when I was a teenager and still listen to him now. Also David Gray. 30 Seconds to Mars was my last discovery. They made a 12 minute video for "Hurricane" that is pretty cool. It was banned in the US so they had to make a censored version.

I can't wait to hear what Eminem comes out with next. A lot of the industry put him down for his last album saying he sold out but it really made him mainstream. He has matured and so has his music. Did any of you see or hear the Shady 2.0 Cypher from BET? That was so awesome!! The uncensored version is on You Tube.

Here here! It's too bad we don't have an Ahlusionati subforum -- we could make a jukebox thread.

You have great taste, Biz (in regard to both Neko and the Boba Honeydew)!

I can't do bottom coils -- cools the vapor way too much for my taste.

Seems to me we talk about everything here anyway. Didn't Mr. Mann say that Ahlusion was going to be getting their own subforum? It would be great if they did. Then new people looking for juice info wouldn't have to wade through our discussions.

Oh man...you totally blew my excitement for the T3. I was hoping they would give me something good to use on my 808 X2s. I'll still give them a try but maybe I better just buy 1 at first. So if I don't like them you've saved me some money :)

Thanks for the tip Tez, I'll try it this week! Don't want dad cooking, and if I have to do another buffet, I'm going to chuck. He's a local so I've been letting him direct. Dad says he knows the neighborhood, not the restaurant but he's willing to try it tomorrow night.

You guys are making me homesick for Vegas. The best 4 years of my husband being in the Air Force we were in Vegas. Absolutely loved it. We had a house halfway up Sunrise Mountain with an awesome private pool in the backyard. Now I'm back home in Anchorage and its -2 and we don't even have snow in the backyard!

I have tried my bottle of Sweet surrender It's a very nice sweet vape! Not something I could vape a lot but a nice change up.:vapor:

Save some to try at 6 weeks! I'd love to know if anyone else notices how it smooths out.

Hey all, I am just getting back from a concert featuring James Blood Ulmer and Vernon Reid in their blues band, and Me'Shell Ndegeocello doing Nina Simone covers. Before I left for the concert, I received a package from my friend LLJR. He sent me BPT and Car-mal Mambo. While I am not reviewing these juices, I will say that the caramel in CMM is (I believe) the same caramel in Caramel Apple. The BPT (Black Pomegranate Tea) is the most pulchritudinous (I had to find an exotic word beyond beautiful) vape that I have ever had. This may seem weird, but that vape seemed to start a new chapter in my life, not just my vaping life.

Wlad, you simply know what it is that you're doing! Thanks, J.

Looks like I'm adding Caramel Apple to my wishlist. I really like the Car-mal Mambo but to me it could use a touch of something else. Apple sounds perfect.

Maynard's voice. Perfect with a glass of riesling and some Peachy Criminal. Or anything else. I've been lucky enough to see him with both Tool and APC for a total of four shows. Jane's Addiction does out on a great show too, saw them with Trent a couple of summers ago. I've been working on re-organizing my messy music library all weekend- our neighbors burned our apartment building down last year and I lost my entire 1.5 tb collection along with everything else we owned including our puppy. :( I kind of put off even thinking about trying to rebuild for quite a while, like, music, oh well, we don't even have a bed etc..and one day I snapped out of it and realized I'd probably rather live without dishes and towels and furniture than live without music. So I have music again, but I'm old and slow and it's a lot of work and brain cell usage. Funny to find this talk while take a break from my tagging, and yay! Now I am listening to Aenima and feeling happy. =)

That really sucks. I'm sorry to hear that you lost your puppy and everything else :( Nice to hear that you've found music again. Plus you are vaping and have Ahlusion.

I have never been to a concert or live performance in my life. Growing up in Alaska during the 70's we just didn't have any here. By the time I got some place where they had any I was busy raising children. Now I could handle the loud music but not the loud crowd or standing for a long period of time.

Yep! And the beauty is, the guy is right up the road from me in Palm Springs, so it should get here quickly. I'll keep you posted -- I've been curious about that one too! I also just happen to love mango, peach, and pineapple.

Say, out of curiosity, does anyone happen to have any experience with using Ahlusion citrus (or acidic) flavors in plastic tanks? I've heard of fruit and cinnamon juices from other vendors reacting with plastic, but I was curious if anyone here had experienced this.

Chemically, citric acid will not react with any of the plastics that are used, it is a very weak acid. Most of those reaction have to be coming from a very strong solvent that is in the juices. I looked up a chart of what solvents would react with the two major plastics used, and only a handful of strong solvents can cause that kind of reaction. I will go find the chart again and post it here for fun...

Here is one of the ones I looked at...

http://www.borealisgroup.com/pdf/chemical-resistance/chemtab_PP.pdf

They used a saturated solution of citric acid in the test, and it never reacted with the plastic... That means the solution was as strong as it could be...

And here is another one...

http://www.fiboxusa.com/pdf/ChemResV707.pdf

P.S. I am not inhaling anything that is a harsh enough solvent to melt plastic, seems kinda like a bad idea?

That's very good to know -- thanks for the great info, Skinnie! It seems there's a lot of misinformation and "folk wisdom" that gets lithified into vaping laws of nature here on ECF.

Come to think of it, I used Ginger Orange Oolong in Vivi Nova tanks and didn't notice the slightest bit of marring or anything like that.

On a side note...Bukket, I love reading your posts. :)

Not to mention, I would give my left leg to be living in Alaska. I know it gets cold up there...but when I finally do get a chance to retire, I am heading to Alaska!!!

P.S. I am going to have to hit the YouTube. His Recovery album is actually my favorite of all of them. I like how he seems to have finally grown up and moved on from killing Kim.

From the Ahlusion site:
"Important note: Our Lemon and Lime flavors are fine to use in food grade plastic and acrylic tanks; non-food grade material usually tends to crack or discolor."

Congrats on your score! Now I've got something new to steal from you.

I owe a buttload of Likes but don't have time this moment. Just woke up from a 4 hour nap after the most amazing Craps run I've been in on in my life, or ever even seen. 8 hours ranging from sideways to hot, never two crapouts in a row. Good thing I can type, I have NO voice. After 4 hours, the pitboss, HIS boss, and HIS boss all sitting at the table, enforcing every tiny rule, and trying to break the rhythm. Everyone at the table knew everyone elses name and the screaming brought the house down. It was started and run by three sister, first time playing. They filled a giant purse with fivers, FULL. I told them not to expect that every run.

But I had to stop in and say TOOL!!!!! I can't believe all the fans! But if you think about it we all have this thing in common. A willingness to embrace something new, something different so I guess it makes sense how much we all have in common. Man, I would love to PARTY with this group. I LOVE THIS THREAD!!!! uh..... Any Filter fans?

Oh yeah, and I love reading Bukkets threads too!

Back on topic, I am SO glad I brought 4 6ml's and two extra batteries to the casino. You just NEVER know what might happen, and you HAVE to have backups. By the time I got hoarse, which was around 2am, I had to switch from BGB to Sasparilla. My throat just couldn't handle the TH.

Wow all this tool talk got me excited! I'm dying for the new album. I've seen tool 12 times. I listen to an eclectic mix of music but it is safe to say they are my favorite. Best live show I've ever seen. Second best is Puscifer. I wasn't even expecting much and their live show blew me away!! You said it, Maynard live is as good as it gets, spiritual experience, lol.

Wow a bunch of tool fans, love this thread. Now if only my first ahlusion order would get here do I can comment on the Juices.

Awwww Tez, Puscifer just played at The Fox in Riverside earlier this year! Having Maynard right here in our little city made me do tiny somersaults of joy. A lot of us here must all be around the same age, good ol' industrial kids of the 90s :) I was lucky to hit every show that I could from Skinny Puppy to Tool to White Zombie to KMFDM to Thrill Kill Kult and on and on. I don't think I'll ever quite grow up and out of my favorites and I still see them when they come around. If Puscifer/Tool comes back to Riverside I'll drag you there myself. Maynard live is about as good as it gets (outside of possibly Godspeed You Black Emperor!, one of my other serious musical obsessions).

I feel ya... In the same boat. At least I went into processing on Friday morning. So it can't be too much longer... I am patient, but it does feel weird being in a thread about a product I have never tried, LOL.

That show was great! Love how he said any other pretentious singer would have cancelled but wouldn't do that to us, lol.
And then when he took the crutches and put them up in the air moving them like machine guns!

Atmosphere and Aesop Rock were there too, big fan of underground hip hop too.

I saw Tool twice in the summer 2009, once in Phoenix, once in Pomona, CA. (That was one of those all day festival shows with Linkin Park, Alice in Chains, and several others that I can't remember right now. At that show Maynard was actually on crutches, because he fell in the vineyard during harvest.

Tez, I felt the same way at first. Their first album didn't interest me at all. Although now there are a few songs I do like on it. I implore you to go listen to their second album, well it's an ep, whatever. It's called "C is for (enter sophomoric phrase here)". It is great. Their newest album "Conditions of my Parole" is even better. And if you have the chance to see them live its even better than anything recorded. I wrote them off at first as well, big mistake, lol.

I will say that Puscifer never grew on me the way Tool did, but I absolutely adore that Country B*ner song! Still, I'd go see 'em local in a heartbeat.

Congrats on your Craps run, Mo!!! Filter fan checking in!

I can relate to this. I ordered a custom PV a while back, and it took a looooong time to arrive. In the meantime, I visited that vendor's subforum frequently and befriended some of its friendly locals. The device finally arrived, and I was completely disappointed! It was poorly made, did not live up to any of the hype, and I couldn't get rid of it fast enough. Now I'm in a somewhat awkward social position in regards to the friends I made in that subforum.

But honestly Skinnie, you seem like someone who appreciates quality, so I don't foresee that happening to you. And I think it's a little different with juice -- if, for example, you don't like any of the XX number of juices you ordered (highly unlikely), you would still have over 100 alternatives at Ahlusion! These aren't simple variations on the same base formula either -- they are definitely no one-trick pony. I guarantee they have something for everyone, except for the person who does not like quality, subtle complexity, and attentive customer service!

I'm not worried at all, trust me I can't imagine BGB and DD letting me down... I know enough about you, Luce and Mr. Mann's taste that if you guys are raving about it... I am going to like it hands down ;)

I'm sure some of the other stuff could be hit or miss... But my feeling about flavors is more about vaping stuff I can't or am trying not to taste in real life. Like I am staying away from tobacco, maybe someday when I get that bad habit under control I will start smoking a couple good cigars a month, but for now I am totally staying away from it. Fruit, coffee or dessert on the other hand... I still eat that stuff whenever I want... And no matter how good the strawberry flavor in a vape is... It ain't as good as eating a real strawberry, hehe. If I was on some sort of diet, then maybe substituting a dessert flavor for a dessert I was cutting out of my diet would be something I might do... But if you read my user name, you would know I can eat whatever I want

Yep, that's a good point. And I've managed to work my way up to a whopping 170 lbs. after years of reckless eating, but other than that it sounds like we might be twins separated at birth!

MayLovesMetal - I saw Jane's with NIN a few years back as well...that was a great show!

BeesKnees - too funny you were at the Pomona show too! I was up front when Linkin Park was on, lost my shoe during Bleed it Out (which got totally out of control), but there was no way I was moving when Tool was coming on next. Needless to say I was in extreme pain the next day, but well worth it! It was great when he said other pretentious rock stars would have cancelled if they were on crutches...loved that.

Mo - craps is my game!! Seems like female begginers always have runs like that their first time at the craps table. So congrats...and I assume this means Provari's and unlimted Ahlusion juices for everyone!?!?! LOL!! And coming back from Vegas with no voice means you had a great time! LOL

Krash - I got the dvd of Blood into Wine in my stocking a few Xmas's ago...pretty cool.

Now..an Ahlusion related question I was thinking about last night, but was too tired to grab the computer and post. Does anyone feel varying effects of the nic from different flavors? Like CPBT...I totally feel the nic effects from that one, almost to the point of headache because I chain vape the stuff...but if I do that with other juices, it doesn't hit me the same way. (which I don't have a preference either way to be honest, just an observation). It made me wonder if certain flavors interact with the nic differently? If I can make any sort of an assessment here based on the flavors I have tried...I can say that it seems those with the "creamy" aspect, do it to me less than those without. Anyone else experience anything similar, or have any thoughts?

Almost everything I have now either comes with Ahlusion Cream or customized with added Extra Ahlusion Cream. Lol. I haven't gotten all nic'd out in a while but I was putting that on my constant chain vaping and slow drop in nic percentage. I do have some "normal" A+ on it's way. In the name of science I'll try to hit as often as I can to try to help answer your question.

My roommate at the time was at that Pomona show too. I had to pass due to being an overworked grad student, which sux cause that's like 25 miles from here.

It seems like BGB and DD hit a little harder for me nic-wise, but that could be purely psychological because they are sooooo much like smoking a pipe.
