Really sorry if this has been asked before, I've been searching and couldn't find an exact answer. Being new to rda's, I was wondering how the amount of airflow directly affects vapor production/density. I know that more airflow=cooler vape, but I'm not sure how it factors in to creating more or less vapor. Does anyone know, or is there a link to an already posted answer?

The best answer here might be: YMMV
Put a single coil in a dual coil dripper, and it's gonna be too airy for nice thick vapor... most likely.
And more is a tough thing when talking about a gas.... tightening the air down a little may result in denser vapor whereas total percieved volume might be better at a more open setting.
