Steeping
now i know steeping is always a good thing to do but i also know its not always necessary.

i know steeping helps mix the flavors and makes the overall blend taste more uniform.

Does steeping help with the harshness of a juice?

Airing out
I know airing out should be using when working with alcohol flavorings to let the alcohol evaporate.

but i know some people do it with all their juices, what does it do to normal juice? whats the benefit is there a down side to doing this?

Steeping is nessessary for tobaccos and not so much for fruits, candies and creams. 1 - 2 days steep for the later mentioned and 2 - 4 weeks for most tobaccos although there are some tobaccos that need no steeping but I haven't used any of those.

As far as harshness that could be steeping but again could be many other things such as poor NIC, Over flavoring, bad vaping equipment etc... It's true that most mixes will mellow with age and harshness should be reduced.

As far as airing out that is true with alcohol based juice or juice that taste and smell perfumie. 24 hours with the cap off should do it. If you don't have a chemical or alcholo taste or smell then it's usually not nessessary to air it out.
