Other than the scissors all of that can go in your carry on. I would check with the airline on the amount of liquid but it’s generally under 100 ml. Batteries are supposed to be in carry on not checked bags and should be taken out of mod.

That said it depends on where you are traveling to some countries have brutal vape laws like Mexico. So there is a chance of losing things to customs just do some researc.

They do want to be able to see it all. Put the bottles of liquid in a resealable plastic bag, likewise the mods and tanks. The batteries should be in battery cases and then in a plastic bag. That way you can take all the bags out and put them in the tray, so they can see what you have without needing to pull stuff out. Doing it that way I've never had them go any further than a visual check.

Tools should definitely be in checked bags, not allowed in the cabin. There are limits to the amount of liquid allowed in carry on, can't remember the details. I think the maximum size of an individual bottle is 100mls. I believe you can put more liquid in checked luggage.

I've taken my vapes to Mexico a few times; most recently, right when Covid broke out. Now, Singapore or Thailand would be a no-go.

I have also taken my vape to Mexico many times. Unfortunately there laws changed in February of this year and both smoking and vaping laws have now become very strict.

What's going on with the smoking laws?

Yeah, last time, I was got a little nervous. That was when they said no importing, but personal use was still fuzzy.

The hold is safe. Carryon should be too but one never knows. An 18650 is below the prohibited battery size so while legal, you may run into an idiot that has an issue and that can be at best a hassle. The scissors will depend on whether they might be considered usable as a weapon. (There are some that would) when I go on a flight I just pack everything but a small bottle of unflavored high VG juice and use it as hand lotion if I get a Nicky fit. Nicotine will seep through the skin. One of the conspiracy theories about why Nixon did so badly in the Nixon-Kennedy televised debate is that he was given nicotine laced hand cream and was suffering from nicotine poisoning.

Wow! That was a must watch.

Who the heck charges a battery off a battery bank? Especially ON a plane?! Idiots I guess. People apparently sell systems that can only be charged through the USB port so people are going to do that. You buy a no name device with an internal only battery you cannot control the quality of that battery. I forget that those things even exist. I don’t go near em if I have a choice. Chinesium is real. Not everything made in China is that way, but their protections are often not enforced in any meaningful way. The whole “Chinese slave labor” thing isn’t everywhere but it does happen. There have been arrests. One would think that there would be lots of unionization in China but there is almost none (!). It’s pure capitalism run rampant.

I was in Scandinavia recently for a whole month and some of the countries I visited don't even sell flavored Nic Juice, so I had to bring enough vape supplies with me to last the entire stay.

In my carry-on, I had a vape device and four 18650 batteries, a battery charger, a power bank and one bottle of Nic Juice that was under 100 ML. My vape device uses two 18650 batteries at a time. I took apart my vape device, removed the batteries and put all of the vape items in a small ziploc when going through security. Everything went smooth.

In my check in luggage, I had about 6 bottles of Nic Juice with me. Sizes were 100-120 ML bottles.

I've also noticed that when flying sometimes, there might be leakage from the tank. I assume that has to do with air pressure. So I try to have my tank almost empty before getting on the plane.
