Before I get on a plane I always go to the bathroom and clean out my Aspire Nautilus. When landing and taxing to the gate I refill my Aspire Nautilus and I'm good to go once I'm outside.

I have heard some say keep the tanks upside down and they might be OK but since I'm not one to vape on a plane I never tried it.

This is REALLY good to know since myself and my husband vape. He travels for work, I'll be sure to warn him to double-pack everything and fly with empty tanks. That must have been heart-breaking if that's all the juice you had.

haha i still had some left just a one day trip, my cartomizer was fine.

Im not sure, this plane is like a 8 seater private plane, so maybe the pressure system is not as good as a commercial one? I dont knwo but on the way there only one tank leaked, on the way back all 3 leaked a little. Cartomizer stayed fine in my pocket.

Most planes don't pressurize to the same level as being on the ground, just enough to keep everyone inside from passing out. Some planes that are not made for high altitude flight don't pressurize at all, mostly prop planes. It is the change in pressure that causes the leaking and storing the tanks with the air bubble inside the tank next to the coil will keep them from leaking as air comes out not liquid. So bottom coil tanks need to be stored upside down and top coil tanks should be stored right side up.

This leaking can also happen to a smaller extent while driving up and down mountains. Found this one out the hard way after a family reunion in Virgina.

I fly for a living. We take off and land many times a day with lots of pressure changes. We can also go from sea level to high mountains in a matter of hours. I can firmly say that tanks (any tanks) will leak like a sieve. I lost a lot of fluid before I figured out how to stop it. I now carry my mod in one of these ( 5" Flashlight Sheath ), upside down and have not had a leak since.

When a flew a search and rescue chopper I never had a leak but we almost never flew above 800ft.
