I've carried my ego-C's w/ mini vivi nova's through security, but I was curious about bigger mods myself as I am about to take a flight to NC for a few days, but with only 1 carry on bag. I wanted to take my eVic but definitely don't want it confiscated.... Anyone who will chime in, please do.

From what I read on this forum no problems. Just put your juices in plastic bags
Do not vape on planes, they are good through security and in the terminal but in the planes is a big nono, most passengers would still see "smoke" and think the worst. Best to chain prior.
Put juices in bottles no larger than 100ml in a 1 quart ziploc bag according to TSA regulations. I also put my tanks in there. Juices and batts stay in my carry on luggage. They will confiscate batteries found in checked luggage. Traveled in October with tons of juice and batts. As long as they are packaged according to TSA regulations, you should have no issues.
In Cairo I took my ecig in my purse and they asked if it was a laser or a needle for diabetes... once I showed them what it was they just laughed at me and let me through.
i travelled from london to geneva with my mod broken down in my hand luggage. on the return they asked what is was so I demonstrated and they had no problem with it. I even had a stealth vape on the plane by double inhaling to get rid of the vapour cloud.
Good info, thanks. I have a Provari Zombie edition with blood splatter effects on it. I think I'll leave that one at home. 
Traveled with my ecigs for the first time last week. Brought like 6 bottles of eliquid, 3 egos and 2 mini protanks. Put the zip lock bag with all the juices in the tray and everything else on my carry on. No problem getting through the checkpoint.
No issues through Australian airports. Nor Cambodia or Malaysia for that matter.

No tanks are fine with the little bit of liquid they have in them, no tank holds over like a third of an ounce anyways.

That is correct Arnold, I work at DIA and go through security every day. try getting a little kit holder that'll keep everything together. Also make sure all your juices, bar what is in your tanks, in a ziploc bag smaller than a quart.
I go through every day, with my kit in one hand and the baggy of juice in the other, pop them in the basket and walk through and pick them up. But with a bag you can just throw everything in the carry on except juices with no worries.

Just put your juice and tanks in the quart size ziplock bad if you putting them in your carry on and toss it in the basket.

You should have no problem traveling with your gear as long as your juice is in a liquid bag, batteries etc. in carryon.
