What's the gouge on the Airstream rda? Anyone have any experience with it? II quick google search came up with a 'Tube video and some reddits but not much else. The designer has an instagram page "@coilartisan" that has some intriguing pictures.

It looks like a propeller mounted on the POS post of a tobh.

I'm excited to see how this RDA works out and see (if it ever goes to production) how it vapes. I'm not convinced that the addition of a tiny fan will really do much to change the vaping experience. I suppose that the blades might make a little better internal vortex inside the atty which could cool the vapor off but I don't know if it's something I would notice... but I'm not that smart anyway, so who knows. Maybe this will change everything.

What I do know is that there are hundreds, if not thousands, of great ideas out there and every time one of these ideas makes it out of design and into the stores we get the opportunity to maybe make our experience a little better. I feel like the RDA has come along way, and it's these small steps, hopefully, forward that allow our satisfaction and our happiness with vaping to grow.

It seems like the newest, best atty comes out pretty much everyday, and although my poor checkbook is not happy about all these new advances I'm still pretty excited overtime I get the opportunity to build on something new. Something that has the opportunity to actually be the best new thing. As long as I'm excited about building and vaping I'm not smoking, which is at the end of the day whole reason most of us do this anyway.

So good job @coilartisan. Hopefully your idea is a winner. I'm already a fan of your airstream.

"I'm a FAN". You see what I did there? I kill me.

Anyway, thoughts people?

I would think the way that easily spins, it rides on bearings rather than bushing.from what I know bearings need lube(unless the ejuice is the lube) as in oil or such. I don't want to vape oil myself. Looks like snake oil to me....

Think the snake oil would have some venom in? Might give some throat hit!

The only thing I can see the fan doing is help with keeping constant airflow over the coils as the fan keeps some energy after an inhale. Possibly the faster cooldown means less gunk on the coils? I could see it being interesting in a tank system more than a dripper as a way to try and lower the pressure over the coils to try and get it to wick up quicker after a vape. Though, I am not sure if the tiny amount of energy stored in the fan would make any difference at all.

Yeah, it sucks the idea was stole before it ever even went into production. I guess that's what happens in this industry if you aren't quick tho. I don't have any interest in the Turbo at all, but this seems much more thought out. The way it spins so smoothly is pretty neat, but i would also be worried about the beating lube although I do know that they could use a completely sealed bearing and it should never be a problem. I think if they could figure out a way to make this universal for many different 3 post atties and have the price at around $15 they could sell a ton of them just to people who are curious.
