airy vape?

What gives? Am I going to thin on my cotton or is it because we dropped in Nic level again or because we are using about a 70/30vg mix? Sometimes it seems to be a wet vape and others just airy like I'm not getting enough power. I know today it's because in making a new coil I used 32 gauge wire with the same amount of wraps and it measured at 1.5 ohms rather that the .7-.8 I'm used to BUT the reason I built a new coil in the 1st place was because the draws seemed airy and I figured that my coil lasted almost 2 weeks so I might have needed a new 1. Any idea's?

coils can and do shift causing a difference in Ω's sometimes. The heat can cause the screws to shift or loosen sometimes.

Check your firing pin for noalox. If it isn't getting a solid fire it will effect the vape quality.

"airy" is typical of a bad connection, dying battery, coil not getting good solid connection, or a bad wick which may have been burnt in half from an accidental dry fire.

Your power related issues sounds like a firing pin not getting a good solid connection to the top of the battery.

Through process of elimination you will get it resolved once you track down the specific issue.

My drip tip was loose and I was getting an airy weak vape,of coarse I messed with just about everything else first before changing the tip

An old cotton wick can cause an airy vape. Once I checked mine only to find that there was no cotton in the coil, just some leading to each end must have slow vaped the cotton.

Ok, I cleaned, scraped, and re-naloxed, re-coiled, and re-wicked. So far so good! Thank you everyone, I was getting frustrated!!!
