Please note that this bill has already been approved by the Alabama House.

Also please note that this bill would ban e-cig sales to anyone under the age of 19, as Alabama has long banned tobacco sales to anyone under the age of 19 (as have Utah, Alaska and New Jersey).

This is going to be unpopular but here goes.

I don't thing banning sales of e-cigs CONTAINING NIC to minors is a bad thing. I don't see why anyone should care about 0 nic rigs. I suspect the reason they don't make the distinction is if a cop sees a kid vaping they would pretty much have to run chem tests to prove it contained nic and no one wants to pay for or bother with that.

Hi crnp3130, welcome to ECF.

The city of Birmingham exempted e-cigs from smoking regulations.
Mobile may have also- but i'm not sure.

The cities of Vestavia, Mountain Brook and Bessemer, may have included e-cigs in smoking restrictions.

You'll have to check with the specific restaurant to see if they allow vaping. i don't know of any chains that have made any policies (someone else may). Several bars in Birmingham welcome vaping, and even sell disposable e-cigs.
