that's a question only you can answer. i quit drinking for the first two weeks of switching. was careful having my first drink, but quickly found it wasn't an issue. for some, its a big issue. experiment and see how it goes for you.
I've been able to go all night with just my ecig. In certain situations it is really really nice to have my ecig. No more having to go outside to get your fix. Plus it can be a real ice breaker when meeting new people.
Haven't had a problem, yet and I've been out quite a bit recently. A really dear friend is moving overseas and it seems like we've been out wishing her bon voyage for two weeks straight P.S. she's also using e-cig and she has had no desire to pick up an analog on these nights.
Thank you all so much for the input. I am soooo excited to be giving up nasty, expensive cigs after smoking since high school (now 46 yrs young). Ordered Green Smoke on Sunday and have read some mixed reviews, but will try and return if there is an issue. Vap4Life looks like a good replacement if needed.
I haven't had a problem while drinking, wanting an analog at all, ecigs are enough for me, but i agree with Ejoker, you would have to try it yourself, everyone is different, some people miss things others don't about smoking analogs, heck i miss my Zippo in my pocket lol.
Newbie here.
I found I do want an analog, but it certainly helps if you are vaping something with a strong taste to cut through the alcohol.
Interestingly enough though, I purchased a Brandy flavor juice, which, while delicious, makes me want an analog! I find if I hold off long enough, it goes away.
i always drink. never do i want to smoke. maybe in the beginning. but i've switched to vaping, and don't see myself ever picking up the habit again. if i had to quit vaping, id switch to snus. Or maybe grow and roll my own. But don't think i'll ever buy a pack again.
Drinking and using my PV was the ultimate determining test on whether or not I would be able to fully switch to vaping. I haven't had any problems with it at all. Of course I vape as much as I used to smoke when I drink, which is constantly.
Vaping in the pubs has been easy enough for me as well, especially given the advantage of being allowed to stay put whilst doing so. Nine pubs and two clubs so far and not one issue with a landlord.
However, a young girl behind one particular bar stated: 'You can't smoke in here!' Seems I was in the wrong room. They do allow smokers on the sly but not where I had chosen to sit. You have to love the irony.
I am currently trying to beat this right now. I shoot competitive pool three nights a week which I usually drink when I do. Not to mention most of the people on my team smoke. I also associate smoking as a stress reliever which is hard for me when I am at college and have tests or quizzes coming up. At home I have no problem with not smoking analogs. I assume in time it will get easier and I am positive I will be able to beat this.
I started with medium nic level liquids when I began vaping over a year ago. I found it was not enough when drinking, but high nic level liquids were satisfying.
I never wanted to go back to analogs and I haven't.
